That one reviewer below (Erin) is so biased it is funny. She must be married or related to or friends with one of the cops in Hearne. In her review she makes ridiculous assumptions like "don't fault these men if you choose to break the law". Lady, I did not break the law. Your buddy? acquaintance? Chuck Stem and his accomplices did that when they illegally searched my vehicle. Stem actually reached into my car, assaulted me then proceeded on to grabbing my cell phone and shutting it off. He also lied to the other officers to get them to gang up on me (like a bunch of bullies). I have actually even seen the video and confirmed that my recollection of events is accurate, you have not. The cops were way out of line and acted illegally. Luckily Stem got fired, the other cops got sued. After seeing the 1 review on here about the Hearne PD I had to create an account. If you live anywhere around Hearne you will know they do not tolerate speeding through their town. Also before anyone starts throwing out the minority or race card they should take a look at the entire police force here. When I've requested police assistance they have always came promptly & took care of everything in a very professional manner. I have witnessed them searching vehicles of people of every race. No one is singled out but if you speed through this town these officers will do their job. If you don't want to be pulled over then wear your seatbelt make sure your car is registered & go the speed limit in other words obey the law.
