Cool place, stopped by here with my brother yesterday to check out the fresh catch. We got there…read morearound 11:30 and parking was challenging. There's a lot very close by but parking is $8 ($5 if you get validation by making a $10 purchase in one of the shops at Seaport Village). A lot was sold out by the time we got there so I would recommend coming early in the morning. They had fishmongers scaling and cleaning fish off the pier and a wide array of fresh fish by the pound (prices were very affordable). When we were there, there was one "cooked foods" booth with clam chowder, ceviche, fish and chips, uni hand rolls, etc. Prices were fair but the line was long so we opted to skip it. Much of the menu was sold out by that time anyway. Food looked decent based on what I saw others eating. Overall it's worth a stop if you're in the area, want to do some shopping at Seaport Village, can find parking, etc. Otherwise I'm not sure it's worth a trip per se.

Oh, when she saw that she wanted to go to bed early on Friday night so we can check this Market early on Saturday. So we did went to the seafood market, there's PAID PARKING exactly near this Market, this is in SEAPORT VILLAGE, there's plenty of paid Parking wherever you end up in Seaport Village. So many seafood vendors and they have nice and big FISHES for sale, and lots of huge LOBSTERS too. Not only do they sell the Seafood here Fresh but also some if the vendors can cook it for you right there and people lined up to eat there. We didn't try to buy the one they're gonna cook it for you but we did buy some seafood for me to Grill at home. But I hope they added more vendors that offer to cook the Seafood there or Drinks. It's a nice spot to visit and walk around with your Family or Friends.

I enjoyed the big, juicy pieces of shrimp and the mango slaw on top. Would definitely get this one again! We also shared the fish and chips - beer battered cod. I liked how the breading wasn't thick and it remained crispy!! Also, it didn't feel heavy or too oily at all. The fish inside was moist. The coleslaw that came with it was good too and it was a little sweet. I didn't like the tartar sauce that much and honestly didn't feel like the fish needed it because it already had good flavor. Service was great! The person who took our order was very nice. Very casual place! Can't wait to come back and try other items

There was still a significant line, but when we finally got to the front, the waitress taking our order wouldn't even look at us. She spent a good portion of our "turn" chatting with another waitress before finally turning to us--still with zero eye contact. We ordered a cioppino, a clam chowder in a sourdough bowl, fish and chips, and a dozen oysters. I noticed she shouted the soup orders back to the kitchen but didn't say a word about the fish and chips. When I specifically asked her if she got the fish and chips, she said "yes," took my card, and sent us to a table. Our soups and oysters arrived after 15 minutes, but another 30 minutes passed with no sign of the rest of the meal. When I followed up with the same waitress to check on the status, she looked at the order and flatly told me there were no fish and chips on there. By that point, the restaurant was already closing. She asked if I still wanted them, but after waiting that long and dealing with that level of indifference, I just said no. Extremely disappointing experience. If you're going to stay open for customers, you should at least provide basic communication and hospitality. I won't be coming back.

The ealy ywars of Big Be gthat was in the area of Lamesa Casa De Oro where the store was family oeiented yet the feel of the Big Ben is one has been lost. The day tgat I was going to the store I hsd my lap top with me I do carry and the briefcase with me when you have an expensive computer you dont leave the bag at the front door to get stolen. For the cuatomer service that was shown that day was not the best for the courtesy I recieved I left the store. The food products they have are sone that are from across the border for the profucts are very questionable. The shopping trip was to come and buy sodas and burrittos yet the way I was treated i took my lap top and walked out the door. The day at Big Ben was being treated rude for customers that hace gone to a SpanishMarket this market was English Speaking over in the Spring Valley family shopping at the market has gone out the door.
