Pole Buzz @ Queen Bee's - There was seven poles for us to use, some of us had to share. - Pole Dancing Classes Near Me - San Diego, California

It's been a long time since I've done pole aerobics and the Inversion Conditioning Class really whipped my butt but in a good way! The instruction was great and the class was fun and I learned some new techniques and skills. I was able to get upside down on the pole but not for a long time. It definitely reminded me that i need to work on my core. It was a small group of four of us so we were able to get some one-on-one pointers which was nice! For inversion condition make sure to bring a personal towel, yoga mat, alcohol spray and a wipe to clean your pole (if you do not you can purchase a towel and alcohol for $5 and they prefer cash) Music: good! Parking: street parking that is free for two hours (or until a certain time) or you can park in their private parking adjacent at a discounted price! read more

I absolutely loved my experience at Pole Buzz. Our instructor was Cecelia, and she was the sweetest and most patient teacher!! Definitely recommend booking with her! She even helped us record videos for our instagrams. The experience and environment was definitely a 10/10. It's such a welcoming and fun environment to feel yourself. read more

This was my first pole class since moving back to San Diego! I did the beginner class with Stacey and she made me feel comfortable with my movements and flow. Her encouragement and the general atmosphere of this class is all the reason to come back! read more

Lorena is such an amazing pole dance instructor with awesome energy! My girlfriend & I came here to have our first pole dance class. I was a bit nervous, but she made the steps easy to follow & was so encouraging, it was hard not to have fun! I was surprised how much I was sweating, it was such a good workout. I almost fell a couple times because I was so sweaty I was slipping off the pole, Haha but I had so much fun I didn't care :P Parking was not too bad. She has her own parking lot where you can park for free. North Park is notorious for no parking, so I was so relieved by the private parking lot. Even if her's is full, there's a restaurant right next to her that offers $5-$10 parking. The place is spacious, I love the different color light hues so it really helps being in the mood. We brought yoga mats to stretch on & our own towel+alcohol spray to make sure we are following sanitary guidelines. You can come to class without a mask if you show proof of vaccination. I would definitely recommend this place! I honestly can't wait to return. What a fun way to learn something new, get fit, while also empowering your feminine energy. A must try with your girlfriends! read more

Best pole pike studio in SD imo Good prices, great classes, amazing outcomes. You can get a 5 or 10 pack classes with a discount! Often they organize showcases, encourage students to compete and help them train and create a personal piece. Also pretty cool nights out with the team) read more

This was my first time attending any sort of event/ class. I entered the studio and wasn't greeted or directed to where the studio was. I was rushing bc they send a preclass e-mail emphasizing NOT TO BE LATE. One of the employees rushed into the bathroom right before me, not greeting, no direction then proceeded to talk the entire time right up until we started the class. Once the time started then she took her time going to the bathroom. The reminder of the class was fun and definitely a good workout. The instructor was very clear and did well at describing the movements. Although her counts to the music were off read more

Pole Buzz at Queen Bee's has become a second home for me. I began my pole journey here two years ago and because of this amazing place and group of people, pole has now become a huge part of my life. All the instructors here are fantastic. Each one of them is so knowledgeable and so encouraging and you can tell that they are incredibly passionate about what they do. No matter where you are in your pole journey there is a class here for you and you can be certain it will be led by an instructor that cares about you and your success. Outside of all the wonderful classes, they also offer the chance to participate in a student showcase and competition training if that's something you're interested in pursuing. No other studio I've been to has a program like this and it is truly an invaluable resource if you are ever considering performing or competing in pole. Whether you've never touched a pole, or you are 10+ years into your journey, Pole Buzz is a community that will help you become a stronger, more confident person both on and off the pole. read more

There are many studios in SD, some are newer and fancier than others, among all of those pole buzz is my absolute favorite. It's not only a place to dance and learn, but a community that you will feel supported and loved. Lorena has a big heart and truly cares. I love the vibe here, the people here are real. read more

Came here foR the beginners pole dancing class, and was not disappointed. Nadine was the instructor at 8pm and she was running a little late since the schedule got botched somewhere down the line. She made it up to the class by providing us with the full time and I think 2 additional songs to freestyle style to. She is very vulgar but in a funny way. If you are easily offended (you're silly), you'll maybe want to pass on her class. She is welcoming and all of your nervousness just melts away with her spunky behavior. I have never taken pole dancing lessons but after this one class, I'm hooked. Btw, bring kneepads or wear leggings. I rubbed off some thigh meat from spinning on the pole so much (might be a me thing) read more

I have been doing pole for almost 3 years, then I got pregnant and continued until my body couldn't anymore. After having my baby, I wanted to reintegrate and I contacted the instructor (Lorena) as I felt ready to return. She was very patient with me and little by little I was regaining strength and confidence in myself to continue this sport that I love so much. I recommend this place because it has ample hours, parking and above all a good atmosphere.

This studio is so welcoming, and packed with fantastic instructors. Lorena was very helpful in getting me to my first class prepared. I'm in my 40's and not particularly athletic, so I was very nervous, but after some private lessons with Stacey, I was full of confidence and eager sign up for all the classes. I have been to 8 classes now, and have worked with Stacey, Lorena, Lilybelle, and Ziyah. They've all been excellent teachers, and I really appreciate learning from their individual styles and experience. I can't wait to work with the others as well. I'm so glad I finally got my butt down to Queen Bee's! read more

I hosted a private party here for my birthday in January and it was SO MUCH FUN. Lorena was the instructor for the night and she made the pole dancing easy enough for anyone to follow. The pole dancing routine we did was a WORKOUT so bring water. You get to wear stilettos (optional but I highly recommend) that's provided by the studio. There's time for posed pictures before and after the pole dancing. The pictures we took as a group turned about amazing. I highly recommend hosting a private party here. I would absolutely do it again read more

My sister & I booked a class last minute and we were super excited to learn some tricks & have fun. The routine was a little advanced which was ok, but my sister & I had to share poles, which iwas hard to follow along when an hour class goes by pretty quick and sharing was not our plan. I wish I would've known there was a pole limit or maybe I'm just not fond of paying full price & still having to share. read more

This is the best pole studio I have been to. I'm so sad I had to move and can't take classes here anymore. Lorena is amazing! All instructors are very detailed in explaining how to get into tricks and just overall great teachers. They also have a good amount of time at the beginning and end of class for warm-up stretching and cool-down, which I have not experienced at other studios. I also love the space here. The tile and lights look super good in videos, overall a great vibe. Additionally, everyone is very friendly and welcoming it really feels like a community. 10 classes for $180 is a steal for this place! Truly an amazing studio with great teachers and students. I will definitely be coming back when I visit SD. read more

Lorena, Nadine and Jess are amazing and I can't recommend them highly enough! They truly care about their students and creating a safe space and a community. The studio at Queen Bee's has classes for all levels, a competition team and other opportunities for performing. The small class sizes mean that you get a lot of individual attention and the instructors are available to spot you as you try more complex movements. I also love how they'll offer modifications if a specific movement or transition just isn't working for your body. I have fun in every class I take and I've grown so much thanks to the instructors here! read more

I love this pole studio!! I'm a 6'4" male so I really appreciate the height of the poles which allows me to invert multiple times with no problem. Classes have a great atmosphere being very friendly and comfortable while also providing a very personal level of instruction because classes are kept at a sensible size. Lorena is one of my favorite teachers here always helping me push for new challenging repertoire in my upper level tricks, and has a profound knowledge of the world of pole dance. Definitely would recommend taking classes here as they provide a variety of classes at all levels. Made many new pole friends too has a strong sense of community! read more

Had an amazing experience at Pole Buzz!! It was my first time and I took a beginners trick class with Nadine (idk the spelling) and it was incredible!! Doesn't let you give up and pushes you to try your best. Sooo much fun. DEFINETLY recomend it if your trying to do this as a sport or to try it with a group of gals. Id your a little shy like me, don't worrie it's very private and discrete. But she will make the classes comfortable and fun Never realized the things your body is capable.of until you try it. There are so many things to love about Pole Buzz: the friendly and supportive environment, easy parking, small class sizes (more focused attention on *you*), and tall poles (competition-height!), but I cannot rave enough about the instructors. Lorena, Nadine, and Jessamyn are all incredibly patient, talented, and passionate about the art, and I have learned so much from them. Wherever you are on your pole journey - whether you're an advanced pole dancer or complete newbie - Pole Buzz is a wonderful studio to pole and grow! read more

Great pole classes and great instructors! The classes are small so you get individualized attention and the instructors take the time get to know you and give you options to both cater to your strengths and challenge your weaknesses...the result is making you better at pole while having a fun time and getting in a great workout...what more could you ask from a pole studio? The poles have plenty of space between them, so no worrying about kicking other people like at some studios. (LOL but for real though) To top it off the environment is warm and inclusive. read more
