More…read morethan 8 individuals in our community in Crosslake signed contracts for roofing, siding, and window repairs after a hail storm in June 2024. They were quick to have independent roofers replace damaged roofs. After that the service went to hell. After many calls to determine the status the project manager informed us to find a local handyman to complete the work. Out of frustration most of the residents fired Capital and had another company complete the work. As someone that is in the construction business, I insisted that Capital honor our agreement. In December 2024 the company's VP promised that the needed materials would be ordered during the winter and repairs would occur in early spring. On June 12, 2025 (the one year anniversary of the storm and cutoff date for receiving re-imbursement from the insurance company) the production manager John Hope told me they were awaiting delivery of the materials. I contacted the material supplier and was informed that the order was placed on June 13th (the day after I spoke to Mr.Hope). Finally on July 18th a crew finally showed up to replace the siding. Several other items of work including a door replacement. siding. an accessory building, and light fixture replacement that were on the original work order were not done. At that point I was done dealing with Capital Construction, Promises made, promises not kept. Interesting that they have changed their Company name.

We also opted to add a ridge vent to our home, which was very reasonably priced, at just $300 - $400 dollars. We had a slight hiccup when we had left a car in the garage during the work, and after the crew left they didn't take the dumpster with them, which was blocking our garage door. Since we were needing to get the car out quickly, Tim and Jacob worked together to get someone back to get the dumpster in under an hour, which was super responsive for us. So many calls and text to them with no answer. The roofers did not clean up very well, still finding pieces of tar paper and shingles around house. Plus when they replaced edge found pieces on front sidewalk. Still waiting for last gutter to be put up because they did not have a ladder tall enough!!!! Stay away been warned. After a quick repair, Scott was able to fix the area of my roof that I was concerned about. As he was leaving, I asked if I needed a new roof. Scott's answer was no. I not only appreciated Scott's professionalism, but also his honesty. I'm sure he would have loved to put an entirely new roof on my home, but it wasn't needed and he was able to accurately assess the situation and didn't rip me off. Mission is awesome! We hired Andy as a GC/handyman to work on a project we've been meaning to get…read morearound to for years: putting a closet in the basement bedroom under the stairs to give us extra storage space. Andy came out a few weeks prior to the project to take measurements and discuss project details. He was very detail-oriented, checking to ensure we could create the door without compromising any of the walls or structural support beams in the basement that go through the other levels. He asked helpful questions like what we wanted the door to look like, height and depth, and timing of project. The Mission team sent a proposal and quote over, and within a week, we had the project scheduled. Andy took two days to complete the project start to finish, and worked with details in mind. A few times during the project, he asked us helpful questions to ensure he was doing it exactly to our liking - for example, style of the door trim, etc. We're thrilled with how this turned out and are so excited for some extra storage in our basement bedroom!
