They came out to my house so my Marley could comfortably be resting in his bed and they gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye to him. I was able to hug him and hold him during the entire procedure. I also like that they have an answering service after hours so that you can contact a vet outside of the typical 9-5 business hours. I hate bothering the vets after hours but it seems like a lot of times that's when emergencies happen. I have peace of mind knowing that if something happens I can always reach my vet.

The vet snipped they were not letting my cat out which was rude and uncalled for. Need to have a stomach and a backbone for this job if u can't handle a swat during the exam please retire. The second visit my cat was fixed and knocked out, and they either forgot to write it down or didn't weight my cat at all but somehow it was "proper" dose. Third trip with new kitten was an emergency. My friend dropped cat off and I was to pick up my cat after work. However, my car was sent home with my friend after a 5 minute "check up" not allowing me to talk to the vet! When I called for a visit summary the receptionist didn't know what that was WTF. She refused to let me talk to the vet and instead ran messages back and forth for 20 minutes saying my cat was "good" which was a ridiculous statement when he went in with stitches bleeding. Lastly, the receptionist are too busy chit chatting to answer the phone. I was lost in a gravel pit calling for directions for 10 minutes! When I walked in, the phone was still ringing, they were petting a dog ignoring it. Phone continued to ring after I was check in and waiting for the vet.

I have never been to a vet that didn't even seem to like animals, even calling him "it". Of course the dog is scared. He doesn't understand what's happening. I will never go back there.

Good thing it wasn't an emergency that I was dealing with. However, at their old clinic their service had been wonderful. All the bad customer service began once they got into their new building. One time it took them over a half an hour to check me and my dog out. I don't like how that is set up. Once my pet's office call is over with i feel you should be given your bill and meds, if needed, right away and be able to be on your way home. This waiting to check out is very inefficient. Unfortunately I had to seek services from a new vet because I couldn't handle their poor customer service anymore, which is a shame because their prices weren't that bad there. I don't know how they are now but hopefully they have gotten better for their remaining patients.

I've always wondered why they chose the name Family Friends. At first, I assumed it was because pets are members of the family, and the name had a nice ring to it. Over the past few days, I understand it differently. Family Friends are truly friends to our family. It's a large practice with a remarkable staff--every one of them kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. Many practices achieve "friendly." Family Friends has created something more: a place where each staff member steps forward like a true friend, without hesitation, and goes the extra mile. That sets them apart. This past week, as we worked to connect with specialty veterinary services for our dog, Family Friends exchanged supportive emails, answered questions, and listened patiently as we tried to talk through tears. They took time with every visit, showed genuine care, and did everything they could to help us move forward. Their kindness has made a very difficult time feel less overwhelming.
