He was put in more of a dungeon style kennel where he couldn't see other dogs. He was scared to death as the man pushed him in. There were dogs barking the entire time and our baby wasn't the same when we brought him home. We had to find a place for him to go as we needed to be out of town several weekends. My daughters dance teacher recommended Applewood Kennels. She said they were awesome. We were very happy to hear that. This is an hour and a half drive for us but we took him and we were so happy!!!! No more tears. They showed us and Asher around before we left. We felt so hood about him staying there. These people are so nice and they love him. Hours after we left we found pictures on Instagram of him playing ball and he was smiling!!! That warmed my heart. They take such good care of him and they have super clean kennels the dogs are all friends and most important He is so happy. He's been back several times now and he jumps out of the car and heads right in all excited!!! I highly recommend this kennel. Full of caring and love for our fur babies. Since the yard is small, I was worried until they said how often they give walks or go to the park. Grooming and lodging were both above average!
