Awesome place close to the Mall of Berlin. Can really recommend the sweet chili chicken bowl!

Dragonbowl - Stumbled upon this place today. It is a new addition to the area in the last two years.

I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile and finally made it this week. Dragonbowl is…read morethe first place I've seen in Berlin to pick up on the trendy poke bowl concept that took over the U.S. last year. The premise is simple: you choose your protein, you choose your "base," and you choose your sauce. A standard set of veggies is included, and you can also opt for extras. I got the Mrs. Tofu (one of the two vegan options, the other being Mr. Seitan). It came with a nice peanut sauce and lots of yummy veggies, and I opted for zucchini noodles instead of rice (an extra €1) and avocado (an extra 50 cents). The food came out quickly, the portion (large) was filling, and overall it was good (with the exception of the avocado being rock hard and flavorless). I don't think there's anything particularly remarkable about the food here, but it's healthy and tasty and just a nice spot overall. There are also lots of other vegan options like the desserts, etc., so it's a place that a mixed group of eaters can easily come to. I also really like that the outdoor area in front is mostly enclosed, so it was ideal for my toddler to still be outside but not be right on the sidewalk/street. They're also very child friendly and they have a changing pad and high chairs for the little ones.

Recommended by a friend for a quick bite to eat since we'd just arrived from the airport. Friendly…read morepeople, quick service, and most of all the food was super good. The brown rice couldn't have been cooked better. I got the small bowl with beef, edamame, cilantro, the wasabi force sauce, and diced avocado on the side. Several other items top it so it was plenty for me. Didn't hurt to wash it down with a Tiger beer.
