We LOVE our new home! We had an amazing experience throughout the whole process. We had heard horror stories of other builders taking up to two years to build and raising their prices mid-construction - Pointe did not do that to us. They finished our house in 7 months and they honored the agreed upon price, and didn't try to nickel & dime us for things. In fact, when we went to the color selection, the girl helping us would say to us "The builder is going to upgrade this for you" "the builder is going to include this for you" "The builder wants to give you this"...we were so shocked and amazed at all the things he was doing in our favor. The foreman on-site, Richie, was very helpful and always went out of his way to answer our questions and fix little things that we would see on the spot. The owner, Mr. Villalobos, was so friendly and humble and very approachable; and the staff is just amazing. Our house is the Lail Modern Prairie floor plan. read more

We bought our home brand new, and after only 3 years we are now spending thousands of dollars redoing our bathroom floors and shower walls due to poor craftsmanship. This has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Once the shower floor tile was removed, it became obvious why the failure happened the base underneath was mostly sand mix with very little concrete and was crumbling apart. The shower walls showed similar issues and now also need repairs. A shower in a newer home should not be falling apart this quickly. Homeowners work hard for their money and should not have to deal with major bathroom reconstruction only a few years after moving into a new build. We expected quality workmanship and durability, but unfortunately that was not our experience. I hope this review encourages this builder, Pointe Homes, to improve their construction standards and quality control moving forward. read more

not trust this builder. They will not. Honor their contract, and they will give you whatever they want. This is my wife's first house, and I wanted her to have a great experience with it. The first issue we had with Point Homes was that we were promised that she would be able to choose the colors from both inside and outside the house that includes the roof. My realtor kept calling them and calling them and calling them to see when we were gonna be allowed to go and pick our colors. They never called us. They just took it upon themselves to put whatever color of roof they wanted. The next and final thing was that I was promised a home with 2 pillars. But I guess they decided that they weren't going to do it without even telling us. Point Homes made this experience the worst nightmare of my wife's life, and no one makes my wife cry. I might not be able to put a zero in this review, but a lawsuit will work just as well. If I my give anyone that is think about buying a home from this company a bit of advice, I would wait on purchasing a home from Point Homes because by the time I'm done with him, I don't think they're going to have enough money to build any more homes. read more

Where to start? Purchased my home in August, 2020 in Far East El Paso. Did the final walk thru a few days before closing only to find out on none of the repairs were done on the day of closing. Didn't get my keys until about four days after closing. My house came standard with plantation shutters which I didn't get until a couple months later. The painter did an absolute horrendous job. I moved in and there was paint spatter everywhere. Emailed the builder to get this cleaned up but they never answered. The walls had a mix and match of semigloss and eggshell. There is an ac issue that was never addressed. Not sure if it's bad design or the ac techs, but the house does not heat/cool evenly. Have had their ac guy come by a handful of times only to tell me the vents weren't calibrated. Beautiful house but the quality is not there. read more

I love my home it's beautiful that is why we went with pointe homes, but their customer service is unacceptable! We call no answer, we message and no answer! Even our realtor tries to contact them, and gets no answer from them. They messed up with the elevation of our house and Mario Ayala promised us (we even signed a contract) they would put shutters throughout the house to compensate for it, but we've been in our house for 6 months now, and they haven't installed anything! We haven't had any repairs done to the house, and just give us the runaround that it will get done. One of our toilets is cracked and they never came to exchange it! Having our house built by them. Never called us to do initial walk through. Went back on features house should have came with. When asked why they answered with "that's what the Forman decided". Then they stated we have people lined up to buy the house you don't have to go through with it. Very poor customer service. Delay after delay after delay.Finally closed and got my keys. None of the blue tape items from walk through were completed. Found out that someone took a shit I'm my master bedroom toilet and didn't flush it. I paid for cat5 to be installed in every room of my house and when spectrum came to hook up service I was told that it wasn't done and the face plates in every room were useless. First night in home found they didn't connect gas correctly so we had to vacate while gas company sent emergency crew. Worst experience ever. read more

We have had nothing but horrible services/experience with them. We started off actively looking for homes in January 2022, we originally wanted a home we came across in the pebble hills area, move in ready, we sent in out earnest money, tried to utilize the VA home lone. Later on told us we couldn't use VA loan. Okay, really disappointed us because it was such a beautiful home. Our realtor ended up showing us another home in the Socorro area which was the same model from the pebble hills area. We jumped on it, kept up with the house. Told us different time frames as to when it was going to be done. Was told we were going to be able to choose colors, (waited for months) such as lighting fixtures, back splash, then told in the end we couldn't choose anything, everything was supposedly chosen for us, which is not what I wanted. Fought for a rate that was an extremely good rate, also had a hard time getting lender to match the rate. only to be told that the rate was going to expire right before home was just about to be finished, all because the builder didn't communicate with the lender letting them know the eta of when the home was going to be finished. They said they had no credits for us, couldn't help us in any way. That same day we were told they couldn't do anything for us, was the same day my husband dished out $800 for the appraisal. My husband who is a veteran, fought to try and get this home for his family. (Myself & our son). Lender was sending us rates we could no longer afford, asking us to pay out of pocket to buy down a rate we also couldn't afford. Now we have nothing to look forward to, no home to call ours. Its been nothing but let downs with this builder. Writing this review in hopes nobody goes through the same thing we did all to get let down so many times. read more

Bought a house from this builder in August and nothing but issues. My house was supposed to come with shutters and it's been 3 months since we closed and still waiting. Need some walls repainted due to bad worksmanship, still waiting. Good luck getting anyone to respond. My advice would to go with another builder. I've tried the customer service department, warranty department and even the owner. Nothing works. read more

If i can give zero stars i will. Worst customer service some lady name denice she's the worst as interior designer and the owner of company is unprofessional and unethical. I broke a contract with them because of the comments that the builder give us like; "going to see the house and meet with you is wasting my time i can only meet you at my office", "it seems that you and denice didnt get along thats way both of you crush and she didnt lisent to you", etc thats just part of everything. I dont recommend this builder and i heard by others buyers that they never take care of warranties and his excuse is this "last year i build more than 170 i can take care of all the claims fast, they need to wait". Purchased a house which is lovely however afterwards they just leave you hanging. I have contractors for the home next to me driving into my driveway, eating lunch on my property, hanging clothes on my gas meter and no one from pointe home cares to address. They just let them come on your property. read more

Wow! That is the best word for these homes. We just started looking for a new house because our family is growing and after seeing some other builders we were beginning to get disappointed. The sales lady was very friendly and walked us through several homes and even showed us how the homes were built. I'm not one to make an imediate decision because we just started looking but I can tell you that I'm already leaning towards buying a Pointe home and it's only my first day. read more
