Quick stop for a bathroom break, this Love's is located right off of I-95, just north of Savannah…read more It's probably one of the cheapest gas stops you're going to find as Georgia's excise tax is a little higher than South Carolina's. Bathrooms were very busy but mostly clean. The snacks and drinks are well stocked with roller meats, lots of coffee options and plenty of sweet/salty for the rest of your road trip. Very easy access to and from the highway. The gas pump area has a very high cover, so you and your RV should be okay. [Review 14378 overall, 1703 of 2020, number 745 in South Carolina.]

The Frampton Plantation was our last pit stop before heading back home to Savannah and the Marathon…read moregas station is located right next to the same entrance/exit where you turn in. Since Yemassee is a small town and no search results came up for coffee, I decided to pop in at Marathon before heading out. Our visit was very quick, probably a total of 3 minutes. All I wanted was some coffee for the drive back and it was starting to get gloomy. I grabbed one of the bottled Starbucks coffees and went right to the cash. Some of the features of this station is that there is a Subway to the left, inside the station and they also serve TCBY frozen yogurt. They also sell boxed Krispy Kreme donuts. They have quite a few pumps outside and I don't think large trucks can enter here. I think I remember seeing a sign. They seemed to have all the concessions a regular gas station would, but I didn't pay too much attention, since like I mentioned, I was on a mission to get coffee and get back on the road as fast as we could. Service was fine and quick. I got what I needed and managed to load the kids back up before it started to pour buckets. Decent place to get snacks and drinks for the road, since Yemassee is a real small town and it seems that a big portion of the town is closed on Mondays.

I stopped by here around 5:10am on a Saturday morning while traveling to FL from NC for a cruise…read more Gas was $3.49 a gallon, which was definitely higher than NC and Georgia. When I crossed the GA state line, we saw a sign with gas for $2.75! Nonetheless, the station well lit even though it was closed. I paid at the pump. There was no issues at all. But... typically when using a credit card, pumps will ask for zip code, but this pump didn't, which I thought was a little odd. I know asking for zip code can help prevent fraud and/or unauthorized use of cards. Overall, not bad. I did notice that their trash cans didn't have trash bags in them, which was odd. Because of that, trash was at that bottom of the cans.

I saved .30 per gallon but they did not have regular as you can see by my photo. Ridiculous. I saved .30 only to pay at least that in higher tess gas than I wanted in the first place.
