Since Yemassee is a small town and no search results came up for coffee, I decided to pop in at Marathon before heading out. Our visit was very quick, probably a total of 3 minutes. All I wanted was some coffee for the drive back and it was starting to get gloomy. I grabbed one of the bottled Starbucks coffees and went right to the cash. Some of the features of this station is that there is a Subway to the left, inside the station and they also serve TCBY frozen yogurt. They also sell boxed Krispy Kreme donuts. They have quite a few pumps outside and I don't think large trucks can enter here. I think I remember seeing a sign. They seemed to have all the concessions a regular gas station would, but I didn't pay too much attention, since like I mentioned, I was on a mission to get coffee and get back on the road as fast as we could. Service was fine and quick. I got what I needed and managed to load the kids back up before it started to pour buckets.
