Noah took a messy situation and turned it into a great experience…read more He really went above and beyond for us. Everyone in the Ludington location was very nice, we made it home with our new RV and ready to hit the road. Thanks again to Noah and Bill, Ludington is lucky to have you.

Took my brand-new 2025 camper here for a simple warranty repair and winterization. Factory solar…read morecharge controller was bad from day one (half power, manual shut-off didn't work). They called me once after a few weeks to say it was ready and "nothing was wrong." I refused to pick it up because I knew it still wasn't fixed. As an electrician I knew exactly what was wrong and told them it needed to be replaced. After that single phone call it sat untouched for another full month no calls no update nothing. I finally had to call Bish's corporate office. They said someone would reach out to me from corporate. Only the sales person I talked to did. So fail on that end too. After I told the store I called Corporate did they actually look at it again, find a replacement controller they apparently had in stock the whole time, and install it overnight. 41 days total for one in-stock warranty part that I had to push for myself. This is the same store that ignored every call when I was trying to buy the camper in the first place (see my other review; corporate had to step in then too). I gave the purchase 5 stars at the time, but in hindsight it should've been lower.Red flags were there from the start. I have now lost my indoor storage for the winter, I was going to use the county fair grounds since Im past the drop off date. guess my brand new camper is going to have to sit outside this winter or I will have to pay a arm and a leg to store it somewhere else. I will never use Bish's again, they've lost a customer for life. I won't even take the "free winterizations for life" just to avoid coming back here. there was "No I'm sorry we took so long" Nothing.... Just here's your camper and have a nice day. I guess it is since I have my camper back and a lesson was learned. Two stars is generous only reason Im giving 2 stars is that the problem is fixed.

I told them no after the salesman admitted they already verified everything worked during the trade in process. The salesman said he would still have someone help show Me how things work when I picked it up because he was off that day. The only thing they did is attach the plate to the camper then disappeared. Didn't even help me back up to and hook it up. I was told because i said no to the 499 rip-off they couldn't help me. I had forgotten a safety pin for the hitch and was surprised to hear the discounted price of 8 dollars from their store. You can buy the same one for 2 dollars at any hardware. Good camper, terrible experience! Will NEVER go back. And NEVER recommend them to anyone else.

I tried to buy a 2021 Keystone Carbon 5th wheel toy hauler from Lakeshore RV this summer. It did…read morenot go well: Lakeshore defaulted on the deal in the midst of the purchase transaction, after keeping my wife and me waiting for 3 hours without explanation or apology. This despite having a signed Purchase Agreement and deposit with them. Background: We're easy customers, well-qualified, and the super low-hassle type. We did our homework, and found the exact model we wanted in stock at Lakeshore (Keystone Carbon 358), contacted the dealer, agreed on a price and trade-in, and got approved for financing via the dealer. We had planned to trade in our beloved 2008 Keystone Laredo - the trade-in number was not great, but good enough to make the deal worthwhile to have the new unit for the 2nd half of the 2021 camping season, and it would save us the bother of having to do a private sale. Lakeshore was also not able to help us with our hitch - we needed a new adapter plate for our wonderful Pullrite Superglide. Reason: "We don't do anything with hitches." Strange for a volume RV seller. After a long search in finding the right hitch plate (since I also am not a hitch specialist or RV dealer), we were ready to sign and do the deal. We cleaned out our Laredo 5th wheel, brought it to Lakeshore at the time of our appointment, and met our salesman. He "had to take care of few things" and asked us to pull our trailer around to the service department. After three hours in the waiting room, he asked me to step outside to speak privately (why not in his office?). - "They don't want to take your trailer in trade." Me: "What? Why? Are you saying I mis-represented it?" - "No, not at all. My guys just don't want it. We can still sell you the new one at full price (without your trade). I'm very sorry." What "guys?" The salesman was literally the only person who ever spoke to us. No one was around to give us an explanation, and there was no effort to re-negotiate the trade (which I probably would have agreed to). This unexpected ending happened after we were largely ignored for three hours. We sat in the waiting room, looking all very happy-new-customer-like, but no one came over to us to greet us, offer us coffee, or explain the wait, other than the occasional run-by by our salesguy telling us "I'm working on it...". For us, Lakeshore RV was a strange, almost empty and very odd-feeling place. We walked in and out of our new coach several times, and no one took any time to say hi or even make eye contact with the smiling couple clearly anticipating their fun new purchase. Dealing with Lakeshore RV was not a good experience for us. So we had a 300-mile drive (towing our current RV), an entire day wasted, and 3 hours sitting in their waiting room (without being told why we had to wait) when were literally the only customers in the place. My guess is they never wanted our unit, and hoped that "new buyer fever" would overcome us and we would do the deal for the full price. We've not heard from the dealer since then, so the bad taste from our poor experience from Lakeshore RV remains. The attached photo is right from their website. It's a lie.

Review of General RV in Wayland, Michigan…read more We recently had the pleasure of working with General RV in Wayland, Michigan, and overall, it was a very positive experience. Here's a detailed breakdown of what stood out and a few areas where there's room for improvement. What Stood Out Wide Range of Options: General RV offers an impressive variety of choices, from their "Keep You Camping" program - considered an "industry differentiator" because it prioritizes your ability to use your RV during peak camping season and educates owners on what truly needs immediate attention versus what can wait - to various extended warranties. Their willingness to work with customers and tailor options to individual needs really sets them apart. Exceptional Team Members * Marcus (Salesperson Extraordinaire): Marcus was fantastic. He patiently answered all our questions and helped us secure a great price. His expertise and knowledge of the industry as a whole, honesty and friendly approach made the buying process smooth and enjoyable. We appreciated all of his tips and tricks while test driving and found his insight and attention to detail refreshing! * Justin (Financier and "Cliff Talker Offer"): Justin was incredibly patient with all our questions, especially when we raised concerns about General RV's service department Yelp rating. He walked us through the financing options clearly and helped us understand everything thoroughly. * Aaron (Parts Specialist): Aaron was straightforward and helpful, providing a clear list of must-have, nice-to-have, and cool items for our RV. His no-nonsense attitude was refreshing and very useful. I love that he did not try to sell us things we didn't need and answered lots of questions about water systems and electricity! * Jim (Walk-Through Expert): Jim gave us a thorough walk-through of the RV and explained all the features in detail, ensuring we felt confident with our purchase. * Andrew (Insurance Specialist): Andrew was amazing at finding the best insurance coverage and deductible combination within our budget. His expertise made a complicated process much easier. * Front Desk Team: The ladies at the front desk were attentive and helpful throughout. Even though they initially spelled our name incorrectly, they quickly fixed it and kept the atmosphere light with some friendly teasing. Areas for Improvement While the overall experience was great, the cleanliness and attention to detail inside the RV could use some work. There were small issues like the time wasn't set on the clock, dried chunky caulking around the outside lights and smeared on a window, and a receptacle so dusty that I initially thought its color was off. Improving these small details would elevate the customer experience significantly. Final Thoughts General RV in Wayland offers excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and a variety of helpful programs that make RV ownership easier and more enjoyable - especially for a first time buyer. With a bit more focus on the finishing touches and cleanliness, they would be absolutely top-notch. I highly recommend checking them out if you're in the market for an RV.

He was amazing, available and one of the best salesman we have worked with so far and this is our 4th RV! Thank you, Riley for being there for us and not pushing just for the sale. You are the kind of Salesman we look for when purchasing. -The Morton Family
