Point Laundry is the only laundromat I will go to. It's always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Instead of hassling with quarters you load money onto a key to start all of the washers and driers. The laundromat has a variety of different sized washers from 2 loads to 8, so if you get behind on laundry you can still get in and out quickly. It also has a drop-off laundry service. Although I've never used it, I've heard from others that they do a wonderful job! read more

I called here on a Friday (when delivery and pick up is open from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m) at 2 p.m. and the delivery person had already left for the day.. before they started? One of the best laundromats in the EL area, hands down. I've never used their laundry service, but I do my own laundry here all the time even though my apartment complex has its own facility. The atmosphere is great here, the staff are friendly and helpful, the wifi is good, and there's plenty of chairs and desk space to study and do homework. Plus, NO COINS! The debit-key system they use here is really convenient. The place is always pretty clean, the machines are large, spacious, and well-priced, and the owner is super-friendly. read more

The best laundromat I have ever been to. Forget breaking bills, loading quarters, and crappy service. Prepaid keys allow for easy use and transition between machines. The personal service is unmatched with any establishment in East Lansing, very friendly staff. There is free wi-fi, huge tv's, and multiple power sources. Since my first visit over two years ago I have yet to try another laundromat in the area. The atmosphere is unbelievably awesome, you will not be dissapointed. read more

My apt. machines are kinda nasty so I tried a few places in the area and found this one to be the best. Prices are the same as any other place, although the dryers work well and faster than most, and it is clean. They create a pretty comfortable atmosphere with nice chairs and tables and I take my laptop and use the free wifi. All in all I would tell you that this is the best place around, clean, nice girl working there, newer machines. I would say go there, you won't find a better place. Sunday afternoon is a bit busy, other than that it is easy to get any size machine you want. read more

I went to Point Laundry for about a year, usually just to get laundry done. It's more pricey than most other laundromats in the area, but I put up with it because they had Wi-Fi and comfortable chairs. Recently, I brought a large load of clothing to be dry cleaned. When I came back to pick the dry cleaning up, I discovered they had lost one of my sweaters. It took over a month of calls and visits for them to locate a sloth sweater, and it ended up being a different sweater than I thought they had lost, so they lost 2 of my sweaters instead of one, like I thought. I tried to explain to management several times that I had a specific sweater that was missing, and they refuse to work with me. They said that they called the dry cleaner and simply couldn't find the sweater, and the only solution I could think of was to offer me a $20 laundry voucher on the hundred-dollar sweater they lost and refuse to admit they lost. Because it took me well over a month and a half to get the issue resolved very unsatisfactorily, there is no way on God's green earth I am coming back to this laundromat. Thankfully, the sweater can somewhat be replaced, of course out of my own pocket, but I have several custom-made outfits that require dry cleaning, and if they had lost one of these outfits, I couldn't imagine what I would do if I had to replace an article of clothing that's worth well over $1,000. I am simply not willing to take the risk ever again. read more

I have a washer and dryer in my apartment building but I go to point laundry instead. This place is seriously clean and has washers and dryers that can fit all my laundry in a single load. The service is great and they open the door for you when you have an arm load of laundry. Its the little things like that which make this place so great to go to. It has comfortable seating and work areas while you wait and the staff are super friendly. The price is cheap and the air conditioning makes it a solid place to wait for your laundry on hot days. You never have to wait for a machine because there are so many. This place makes the chore of doing laundry not seem so bad after all. It has a lot so you don't have to pay for parking, just one of the many pluses to this place. Highly recommended if you have a lot of laundry and a little bit of time to take care of it. read more
