As I (black male) was drying clothes, a customer (white female) approached me and began starting issues. The employee came and yelled at me, threatened to kick me out of the laundromat, and made a scene as if I was the problem. He then turned and spoke to the other customer softly and politely. I am here on business for the next 30 days and point laundry will be my weekly trip, they have a simple drop off and pick up the next day service. If the owner of this location is the same one as the Frandor one, I'd like to know why you can't seem to follow the rules at the Frandor location. The washers, dryers and prices are all the same but the frandor location does not give a rip about Covid restrictions. Three men have been sitting inside while their clothes dry and taken their masks off. The doofus working who proudly struts around with no mask talking to customers. If you can't manage to have your employees follow a simple mask request, I wonder what other things y'all have going on in the facility. Point Laundry has seemed to have taken over three different local laundry mats in the area. The East Lansing branch is better than the frandor one, which I strongly recommend you avoid at all costs. read more

WOW! This is the best laundromat we have ever found in our apartment-living experience! It is clean and very spacious. It has modern equipment, plenty of seating, free wi-fi, ample folding tables, a clean restroom, and a simple to use laundry card (cash only to load the card). Also offers by-the-pound drop off service. We were here on a Sunday morning shortly after open and did not have to wait for a washer or dryer. Bah-zing! read more

They accept credit cards to put money on an individual key to operate the machines so there's no need to bring a roll of quarters. They have free wireless and a few places to sit in the front lobby area so I did some work while I waited for my clothes to finish. At one point in my life, the thought of doing laundry was synonymous with pulling teeth. Now that I have discovered Point Laundry, I no longer dread laundry day. I actually kind of enjoy it. This is the cleanest, most accommodating laundry mat I have ever gone to. The machines are incredibly easy to use, and there's a variety of different washer/dryer options to choose from. The machines are operated by a small, re-loadable key that cost $1.50 to purchase. No need for coins- just bring lots of $1s, $5s, and $10s. While you wait, you can enjoy the convenience of free wi-fi, televisions, magazines, and quiet study time in several different sections. The seating is comfortable and several tables are provided. This is a great spot to be productive, especially if you're a student! It's very clean, and the employees are really nice. I've gone at night several times, and I've always felt safe. If you have mountains of laundry in the floor of your room, you have no more excuses. You can no longer complain over a dirty laundry mat being a hassle. It's located a two minute drive from Michigan State's campus, and this place is as good as it gets! read more

No one really likes to go to the laundromat, but if one must go, then let it be here. This place is ridiculously clean, well-decorated and well-maintained. They have lots of different seating arrangements including couches and chairs in the back. They also have outlets for your laptop just about everywhere. There are plenty of machines and dryers and generous room for folding. I love that the attendant always pushes the automatic door opener for you when you are leaving with a load full of laundry. Some things to note. Don't bother with quarters here-they don't work. Bring lots of ones and fives. The first time you go, you will need to buy a "key" to operate the washers and dryers. This will cost you $1.50. Keep the key or you will pay an extra $1.50 every time you come. The key can be refilled with whatever amount you need each time. There is one thing that would make this place extra spectacular--free wireless. If they did that, I might be willing to forgo my own washer and dryer and do all my laundry there! read more

I thought this place needed a recent review-- appropriately clean and fresh laundromat. The staff is always pleasant and quickly swing their arms out to hit the door button when they see you struggling down the sidewalk with a load of dirty laundry. I also appreciate the key system, where you can load your $$ onto a programmed key that hangs conveniently on your key ring. My laundering tastes have gotten quite boogie as a result of this, and I shall never launder with change again. Wonderful pick-up and delivery services as well, especially when it's winter and you are too cold to wash your blankets... even though you clearly need them! read more

I wound give 0 star if I could, this is literally the worst dry cleaning of experience I've had. DON'T COME HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR CLOTHES MISSING. I sent two coats to dry clean on October. 16th, one North Face and one Canada Goose. They promised the clothes will be ready on October 28th. But when I arrived at the store on 28th, they only gave me the Canada Goose. They claimed that the North Face wasn't ready, and promised me to come back in two days. However, when I went back in two days as they asked, they still didn't give me my coat. They keep pushing the date and I haven't received my coat since then. I keep calling them to ask if my coat is there to pick up, and they either hang up on me or just wound't even pick up the phone. The attitude of the employees there upset me the most, the lady told me there is nothing she can tell me at this point. She keep promise to contact the owner and let him know the situation, but the owner never contact me nor the store never called back. read more

I've been living in East Lansing for over six years now and every time that I need to do laundry I always choose point laundry. The facility is clean, they take care of there equipment and the place has free Wi-Fi! The washers are in excellent condition and the driers dry efficiently without scorching your clothing. You can buy the key cards with cash or spend the $20 on a CC and get a key with money pre-loaded! The staff is extremely helpful and constantly is asking if you have any questions or o need anything. Found this new laundry place and tried it out. Clean (except the restroom, which has issues). Most machines functioning properly. I was new to the debit-key system instead of quarters, but the young lady attendant was friendly and patient. There is an ATM, but NO coin change machines. The machines do not accept quarters. There are TVs (at least 1), WiFi (it was working), soda and snack vending machines. Also cappuccino, but I didn't try that. Very good seating areas scattered throughout, some nice upholstered chairs, reading lamps, side tables, tables and chairs (like in a kitchen). I felt comfortable there and the place seemed secure. If they see you coming in with a big load, they'll hit the door button and open it for you. Very nice! read more

Better than a typical laundromat with wifi, plenty of seating, tv, and many options of different loads of wash and drying. Payment is via an electronic key that you load. Be aware that you do have to pay for the key ($2.50 I think) but it's simple to load and there is an ATM if you don't have any cash. Dropped off my 2 piece suit for cleaning. Cost was around $12 but i got 10% off for paying at time of drop off instead of at pick up. Since I was in college at there old location by Rite Aide I have used them when I needed them! I used the drop off service in 2005 constantly then again when we moved into a temporary apartment between our condo selling and moving into our house! I am back visiting and staying at a townhouse with no washer and drier. You bet I am heading over there today! The drop off I used again in 2010 when I didn't have access to my own washer and dryer! They never got angry if I brought in 4 laundry baskets and always had my things folded, or hung up. Prompt and professional inexpensive service! We usually get our sleeping bags cleaned at Point Laundry in E. Lansing. I tried to drop them off the other day and the person wasn't wearing a mask. I asked if she had 1 to put on and she said no and I left. I called to ask if their policy is to not wear masks- I was told they don't have any policy, but that if you ask them to put a mask on they should put one on. Just tried again and person was not wearing a mask and asked why they should wear 1 so I left. Just an fyi for those of you concerned about what businesses are safe to visit. read more

The key system is nice but the only downfall is that I had a money left over on my key and I'm not sure I'll ever be back since I was only here because my machine at home is currently broken and awaiting repair. read more

Not only does Point Laundry offer a clean, secure, and new alternative to other laundromats, it offers it at a cheaper cost than most coin operated machines, may they be on-campus or community machines. Point Laundry offers both self-service and full-service laundry options. The machines are in new condition, and use a debit key which you can purchase at the counter. (The debit key is reusable, and proves to be more convenient than quarters.) If you decide to wait in the building, bring a book, a computer, or homework; they offer a nice sitting area with plenty of magazines, and free Wi-Fi. read more

Good laundry mat, spacious with plenty of seating students can come here and do schoolwork plenty to table tops for that as well. Being a college student with not enough hours in the day, it is one of the best things to have your laundry picked up and dropped off for you. The people who deliver/pick up are very nice, and this place is a very good deal. I got the prepaid plan of $125 for 125 pounds of laundry, and could not be happier. The laundry rooms in my dorm are not very good and have bleacher and torn my clothes before. This is a WONDERFUL alternative. read more
