His style is exactly what we were looking for for our wedding in Venice in May 2015. When communicating with Andrea, he was prompt and humbling. He was such a delight to converse with while planning a pretty important event! Andrea made this portion of the wedding so easy to plan and organize that it made everything else easy to handle and we were able to focus on other matters. We both found his rate extremely reasonable and we were more than happy to pay for quality. You get what you pay for and I certainly did not want to skimp on photos of such an important life event! On THE day, 5/29/2015, Andrea arrived early to our hotel; Hilton Molino Stucky. Once the wedding planner arrived, we were able to get started! He was so much fun to work with, keeping the mood light and not stuffy like I imagine most wedding sessions to be. He was creative in taking photos of the usual items: the dress, shoes, putting on jewelry etc. My favorite photos are ones that are candid in nature. He took plenty of those and I am so glad because they captured the vibe and feel of the afternoon. The name of the game for our wedding was NO stress and I couldn't be happier that none was to be found. From taking a private water taxi to our venue **Clooney Style!**, the ceremony and walking through Venice for 3 hours to our dinner at the Westin Europa & Regina through San Marcos, the entire experience was fun, easy and entirely memorable. The 3 hours spent walking went by so fast because we were having a blast and just enjoying the moment. His eye is impeccable and can easily spot unique settings; walking through Venice he spotted many different photo ops...that said, all of Venice is gorgeous so we weren't hard pressed to find photogenic places. Ranging from fun to romantic, his shots captured the mood of the day and we are still so thrilled and enamored with the photos we received and in such a timely manner! I have heard horror stories about photographers taking 6 months or more to get photos back to clients, so I was so excited to see that he had sent them to us by the first week of July. Every time I look at the photos, a huge smile comes across my face. Andrea is the epitome of professionalism and definitely has the enthusiasm for it. We searched online for a photographer and found Andrea. After looking at his gorgeous portfolio, we decided to book him for the day. We could not have been happier from start to finish. Andrea approached the whole day with enthusiasm and humor, and we felt comfortable right away. It felt like having a friend who grew up in the area show you around. We ended up exploring little nooks we never would have found on our own. We spent all day together, and he was so patient, always asking how we were doing and if our feet were OK, even stopping for a celebratory spritz at a little cafe! Our adventure culminated in a gondola ride at sunset (which we highly recommend) Then we saw the pictures...WOW! All of our expectations were completely exceeded. He gave us every photo in color and black and white, and we received them soon after returning from our trip. Every single shot was fantastic, and he edited the day beautifully. Looking at the roll is like re-experiencing one of the best days of our trip. We HIGHLY recommend Andrea. We sought out this Trattoria as part of our quest to visit the Buon Ricordo restaurants. An…read moreadventure by train and bus from Venezia, we arrived to find a bustling neighborhood restaurant filled with families enjoying their Sunday supper. The meal was wonderful from start to finish. Solid country fare, nothing nouveau, but wonderful and worth the trip outside the city. The wine list was extensive, and we choose a favorite Luce from 1996 that was delicious. We started with appetizers of zucchini flower that was hearty and goose liver that was delicate. Our primi was a pumpkin gnocchi sprinkled with smoked pecorino that melted in your mouth. The "plate" dish was a special local recipe of chicken marinated in red wine, served with polenta and a side of pasta in a light butter and sausage sauce. Our other main was slow roasted Veal in a wine reduction sauce. We ended with cappuccino and cookies, full, happy, and carrying our latest plate featuring a drunken chicken!

Our stay here was a last minute booking. We arrived at almost midnight and was greeted by a very…read morenice gentleman. He was humbled to say that he didn't speak English very well but I thought he spoke fine, at least better than my Italian. After a quick check-in, he even helped us upstairs with our luggages. The room was a twin room and was perfect for my friend and I. The bathroom was a nice and large featuring a typical European-type stand up shower and bidet and toilet. The sink was good with room for a lot of my toiletries. The room also had television, although we were too exhausted from the drive to watch. We had a stocked refrigerator too. Our stay here was quite comfortable because the room was at the perfect temperature and it was quite large and very clean.
