As soon as we pulled up they ran out of the hotel to greet us. We were offered welcome drinks upon arrival. A very nice gesture. They even remembered me from last time. The kindness of the staff knows no bounds. The rooms are spacious with a modern chic and elegant feel. The location could not be more central is the hotel is located just a stones throw from St Anthony's Basilica. Bravo to Mauro, his lovely wife and the entire team. I'm 49 and seen over 70 percent of old folks or let's say seasoned seniors. The pool is warm to hot because its thermal. The mandatory money you pay for the buffet will leave you wondering why it cost so much for such mediocre food, and you pay for all your drinks to include paying for natural water 3 Euro. And your not allowed to bring you own wine. They promote No Drinking or Eat in the room, but they have soda and beer - drinks in the small refrigerator. And yes it costly. For all Americans remember this is Italy/Europe everything cost. The town outside the resort gates is small, it limits the shopping or activities, forcing you to take t h.g.h e train to bigger cities. Would I visit the spa resort again? NO. The staff were excellent though. From the manager and bartender to my server at dinner they were all very helpful. All the staff very good.
