I must saw we were not impressed. Right from the beginning the staff at the check in was not welcoming, nor friendly, frankly. The junior suite was nice, clean but dated. Lighting was poor. Each time we went in and out of the hotel we were never greeted with a welcoming "good morning" or "good afternoon" and at check out we were just told the bill was all settled. We left with the distinct impression that hotel does not need our business and we will surely take it elsewhere in our next visit to the nice city of Padova. The breakfast was disappointing; scrambled eggs looked reheated, boiled eggs were left out overnight, milk was overly warm,... The only bright spot were the cleaning and serving staff who were a pleasure to talk to and made our stay comfortable.

The only thing that wasn't amazing was the gym. The gym was a room that was being used as a gym. It had a room of treadmills, one room of weights, and a sauna. You have to ask the front desk for the key to the gym. Overall, I recommend staying here and driving to Venice instead of trying to stay in the city.

We pulled up in front of the hotel and went in to check-in, the process was very quick and easy as the front desk clerk found my reservation, checked me in and had the Bellman go to the car to get my luggage. The gentleman checking us in was joined by the executive secretary of the hotel, they gave us maps and information of the surrounding area, things that visitors must see and options for transportation. Our room was fantastic, larger than I expected in a European hotel, very clean and equipped with all the amenities. We unpacked a few things from our bags and there was a knock at the door, the gentleman from room service said the front desk had sent us a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. We were very excited to get out and explore Venice, however the chilled bottle of Prosecco was calling our name so we had a few glasses before going to the restaurant. Our meal was one of the best we had in Italy and the service was impeccable, Five-Star. (They do offer Gluten Free Pasta and Bread) The hotel van took us to the train station, the very kind lady and gentleman at the front desks information made it easy for us to catch the train to the water taxi and within the hour we were in very romantic city of Venice. Although they were served with several small snacks and the pours were generous. This is very convenient location if you are planning to drive to take the fairy into Venice the next day. Cons - This is not a great location if you would like to walk into the city of Padua and find a restaurant or shopping. I purchased European and Italian plug converters and while they had some compatible outlets in the bedroom, the bathroom was another story. I'm not sure what kind of plug is compatible with that outlet. It was very hard to fix my hair in the morning, so if you rent a room here just be aware of that fact. They I'd have a morning breakfast. I would rate it as fair, nothing special
