Also, I have pretty bad flat feet, and I'm noticing that it's hurting less because of all of our focused, targeted workouts. This was my initial motivation to check out Victory! I hate strength training in the gym and wanted to be more confident in it. I noticed that when I went on my backpacking trip a couple weekends ago, it was incredibly easy for me to hold a 30 lb. backpack and hike 12 miles roundtrip. I was very shocked that I was able to do that with no pain and also had no pain after the hike. Thanks to all the lower body strength training! I am learning a lot through Kyle. I enjoy the fact that we progress our workouts week over week, so that it's not just the same thing over and over again, but that my program is dynamic and changing based on what I need. This is Jason for you. The first time I walked in he was able to tell within seconds that I had a herniated disc in my deck years before I took an MRI. And that was just by looking at me! I went to Evolution for physical therapy for about a year. The physical therapy itself was fine,…read morebut ongoing billing issues became a significant drain on my time. While I was still going to Evolution, I received a bill for a copay that I had already paid. I cleared that up by providing my receipt, which should have been the end of it. A couple of months later, however, I received another bill for the same service date. Again, I reminded them that I had already paid the copay. They told me they had confirmed my previous payment and that I did not owe anything, so I thought the issue was resolved. Nine months later, I received another bill. When I explained that I had already dealt with this issue and had paid that copay, they sent me a bill for a different service date. I checked my receipts and confirmed that I had made that payment as well. Evolution then did not respond to confirm that I owed nothing. Two weeks later, I emailed again asking for confirmation. They eventually responded that my account was "now paid in full." The word "now" is worth noting because my account had already been paid in full for many months. There was no acknowledgment or apology for the repeated billing errors. I liked my physical therapist, and everyone I met at the location was friendly. I would be happy to work with all of them again. I think the physical therapy work we did was helpful. I had even considered going back to Evolution for another round of physical therapy, but the billing issues made me hesitant to do so. All of my concerns are with the billing process. I can't say whether these problems were caused by poor recordkeeping, a lack of communication, or something else, but the repeated requests for payment of copays I had already paid were frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming. If you do go to Evolution for physical therapy, I strongly recommend keeping all of your receipts and payment records. Be prepared to repeatedly show your receipts if you receive a bill for a copay you've already paid. And if you're reading this because you're looking for a physical therapist: I hope you make a fast and full recovery.
