In January 2022, I had a 360 body lift surgery at Poggi Plastic Surgery. Dr. Joseph Poggi is a distinguished plastic surgeon whose surgical skills, expert knowledge, and aesthetic genius are unrivaled in Wichita. Hundreds of excellent 5 star reviews, along with mine, attest to his gifted surgical mastery and his exceptional staff. Especially Celeste, who is a beautiful gem and the kindest of people. Please read every one of those reviews on a variety of websites such as Healthgrades, Vitals, Google, Yelp, Real Self, etc. and then choose Dr. Poggi for your plastic surgery needs. You can have confidence in those of us who have entrusted our bodies into Dr. Poggi's skilled hands that we have not only received world-class results that could give a professional model or two a run for their money, but our confidence, self-love, and self-respect restored. He is a fun-loving and charismatic person who cares about his patients and not just their looks, but also their lives as he strives to improve them with shared insight, invaluable wisdom, and enthusiastic optimism. While Dr. Poggi is well mannered and professional, he is also a man who is playful and witty, who will put you at ease with engaging humor and thoughtful compassion. He is as close to perfect, not only for a plastic surgeon, but also as a genuinely first-rate human being as they come. You can judge for yourself if my surgical results are perfectly beautiful! read more

Poggi Plastic Surgery - Ready to sail the Caribbean! - Cosmetic Surgeons Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

Within the last 4 years, I have had more than one elective surgery with Dr. Poggi. I chose him due to researching his credentials and reviews. Dr. Poggi is kind, honest, trustworthy, and professional. He does exceptional work and sincerely cares about his patients. (My consults were never rushed, and he was thorough in answering my questions and addressing any/all concerns). Dr. Poggi isn't "all about the money," but genuinely wants you to be confident in your decision to move forward. He did not pressure me AT ALL and encouraged me to wait if I was confused or conflicted about surgery. Dr. Poggi is extremely intelligent (yet humble and down to earth). His sense of humor makes time conversing with him even more enjoyable. I trusted his judgment and expertise 100% with my surgeries, and was thoroughly pleased with my results. I even drove 3 hours to see him, thinking nothing of it because he is THAT GOOD.....definitely worth "going the distance!" I sincerely miss those trips because Dr. Poggi (and his staff) felt like family. I am so deeply grateful for my experience with Dr. Poggi and his welcoming, caring staff! read more

Five stars all around! From my initial consultation to my final follow up appointment, Dr. Poggi, his NP Celeste, and all of his staff were all excellent. Dr. Poggi came highly recommend by some others who had surgeries similar to what I was looking at and after my consultation I understood why. Dr. Poggi is knowledgeable and most importantly - honest. He will be upfront about you about his recommendations on how to best achieve the results you want, he won't just tell you what you want to hear and take your money. He is about quality over quantity and you'll never feel rushed during your time with him. He and his team will go above and beyond to ensure everything runs as seamlessly as possible. I can confidently recommend him 100%, and will be back in the future for other procedures myself. read more

I'm sure this review will get deleted because it appears this guy doctors all his reviews, so I hope this reaches at least one person in the time it's up. When I left this doctors office, I initially agreed to proceed with him and his recommendations. So he might wonder why I'm writing this review. For over an hour, he was very convincing that I was a pretty disgusting human being, so I was also convinced I needed the recommended procedures. So let's backup, I came in for a breast reduction. Told him I'd like to go from a DD to a B. He stared at me like I have no idea what I'm talking about and said "No ya don't". Don't you want to be curvy and sexy? Ok, thanks for deciding what I'd like to do with my body. That was extremely off putting. I mentioned that I'd like to do Bodytite with the reduction. He had never heard of the procedure (old school surgeon who doesn't seem to care about new and innovative practices) and went on for awhile about how it's a gimmick. If you do some research, you'll see that bodytite is a very effective, less invasive procedure being done all over the US by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. He suggested I do not just a tummy tuck, but a lower body lift which essentially cuts and lifts front and back around the lower waist. Then came the good part.. He told me my chest is not the problem, it's my stomach. He said I have so much loose skin and that I must have lost a LOT of weight at one point in my life. He also said my stomach did not match my face or the rest of my body and made me feel like I was the most disgusting person he had ever sat down with, and also gave me the Trunkal obesity diagnosis. He asked many times through the consult if I have body dysmorphia. Well, I never did but I think I do now. Throughout the consultation, the doctor commented that my conservative and shy nature does not match my airline pilot career. Well, I'm in here with two strangers without my shirt on so 1) what does that have to do with anything and 2) why does this matter? After all this he said "Not everybody gets to look like her"... his nurse. Thanks. I don't want to look like your nurse, I want to look like me with a smaller chest. After asking others about their experience, I had to write this. I do not recommend, and especially don't recommend taking a teen or young girl to this doctor... he will probably induce an eating disorder and/or scar them for life. Me? I'm almost 40... I can take the beating. I was however, down in the dumps and depressed about my body for a solid week... and still don't feel 100% comfortable in public after his comments. I was humiliated. read more

Dr. Poggi and his staff are amazing especially his nurse Celeste!! In the last two years I've lost 135 pounds and as a result my chest shrunk and I have loose skin on my legs, stomach, back and arms. I went to the Plastic Surgery Center to have my boobs done and I was very disappointed in the results. One of my boobs is smaller than the other which in time I will have Dr. Poggi correct. At the Plastic Surgery Center I hadn't even woken up from anesthesia and they were pushing me out the door. Even with my follow up calls and appointments expressing disappointment in my breast argumentation, the Plastic Surgery Center (plastic surgeon) did not even offer to correct her poorly done work. After having such a poor experience at the Plastic Surgery Center, I definitely sought out different plastic surgeons from numerous doctors and most of them referred me to Dr. Poggi. Back in August I had a 360 full body lift which included liposuction. I can't tell you how happy I am with my side thigh being gone, my stomach being flat and my back being so sculpted. Celeste his nurse always calls me back right away his front desk team and billing department always return my calls promptly and are always pleasant to speak with. Even the center that my surgery was performed at was very clean and the staff there was amazing!! Dr. Poggi is the type of doctor that you can be brutally honest with and he's going to be brutally honest with you. The offices are always clean and I can't complain about the free coffee and water that I get while I'm there. I now have an appointment on April 5th to have my inner thighs done and I can't wait!! read more

Life changing experience. When I first came to Dr. Poggi I was so nervous about breast augmentation surgery. But he was so welcoming and had SO much knowledge about what I want and how I can get that result. The best part is, is that Dr. Poggi was honest about what may not work or what I have envisioned to have. He made sure that everything fit perfect. I can't thank Dr. Poggi enough about how much confidence he has gave me. read more

I went to Dr Poggi for an elective surgery following excellent online reviews as well the recommendation of a close friend who had seen him in the past. He did an amazing job, had great bedside manner, and he and his nurse were both very available for follow up appointments & to answer any questions I had. They were overall just wonderful to work with. Very happy! read more

I went to Dr poggi after my double mastectomy and I just wanted to be even and flat. I was in my 60s do didn't want boobs. He wouldn't listen to me. He insisted on giving me a "A" cup on my left side. He took a muscle from my back and used it. It's not a "A" cup, it's more like a "C" cup. I absolutely hate it. Instead of my chest being flat and even it's now lopsided. I'm more disfigured than I was before I had his surgery. I'm so very sorry I went to him.i had heard he was one of the best. I really hate what he did to me. While he was talking to me, he was fondling two implants. I absolutely refused those. I did eventually agree to the "A" cup but reluctantly. He just wouldn't listen. read more

I absolutely LOVE the great job Dr.Poggi did on my tummy tuck! I needed a tummy tuck badly. From giving childbirth to a 9 pound baby boy several years earlier, I had a lot of saggy loose skin hanging on my belly that needed gone. The procedure was done right there in the same office building that the doctor works in. I was in and out in just a few hours! Here I am several years later still looking great! I hardly even notice my scar. I would highly recommend Dr. Poggi for any and all cosmetic surgery you need done-he is fantastic at his job and a really nice person also. He really puts you at ease and makes you feel comfortable throughout the whole procedure. read more

I am so happy with Dr. Poggi and his entire staff. Dr. Poggi is fun and understanding and Celest is amazing. He is a true artist and even though I am only two weeks post op, I am healing really well and everything looks great. D. Poggi has a fun personality and set me at ease immediately. When you are standing in front of a stranger butt naked, this is incredibly important. I had a tummy tuck, liposuction and butt lift done, and everyone I show are incredibly impressed. If you need or want plastic surgery, Dr. Poggi is the man you should see. I'm even considering a breast lift now because I think he would do an amazing job! read more

I am a 42 year old mother of 2 that has struggled with my weight all of my life. Two years ago I made a life style change and with diet and exercise I was able to lose over 100 pounds. Not realizing that I would never have a flat stomach or be able to lose the loose skin and extra tummy fat that I was still caring around I decided to have a belt lipectomy done by Dr. Poggi and let me tell you it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The knowledge and talent Dr. Poggi has is beyond the words that I can find to express how happy I am with his work he did on me. He knows what he is doing and can explain anything to you that you don't fully understand about the procedure you are having done. Dr Poggi is such a talented Doctor and tells you up front what to expect before, during and after surgery. read more

I can't say enough about Dr. Poggi Plastic Surgery office. I went because of a broken nose; while waiting I saw he had a Aesthetician and since I had acne scars and bad skin I asked to see his Aesthetician a lady named Michelle. I told Michelle I have really bad skin and nothing has helping. Michelle said I can help with that with the ZO products we have. She knows her products well and knows exactly what one needs. Now after seeing her I have a health face and almost none of the acne scare are visible. Michelle is the best in my option, she is an expert of her products and knows exactly how to use them. I am on a wonderful regime that actually works and I never have had a more healthier face. If you want the best for your facial problems then get the Best and that would be Michelle at Dr. Poggi's office. Michelle is helpful, professional, knowledgeable, and extremely kind and wonderful lady. Dr. Poggi and his great staff are helpful and caring and I can't say enough about them. Remember a great healthy face comes from seeing a great Aesthetician and this is Michelle. I'm a thankful and truly satisfied returning customer. Chris M. read more
