He answered, asked my general info about the project (old farmhouse, 30 foot on the front and back of 2 story house) and gave me their per foot costs. I called in May (I'm guessing peak season with the spring rains) and he gave me a general time frame of 3 weeks from then. He called back a few days later with a detailed estimate that was HALF of what the other place wanted. With the savings, I added gutter guards for an extra few hundred. The week he promised, he called and asked if the next day worked. The next afternoon his crew showed up and had the gutters AND downspouts (unexpected bonus!) done in an hour and half. They left 0 nails in the grass around the house. You would never even know they had been here. The new gutters look great and are sloped perfectly. Very, very, happy!

At the inspection, I could tell from the nimble way Mr. Kegley climbed the ladder to my roof that he was a seasoned roofer. They were on time, reasonably priced, tidy, and did a great job on my roof. Fast forward 15 years. I discovered a leak in my living room ceiling and traced the leak to a seam between the main roof and the porch roof. I called up Antietam and asked for help. They called the next day and had someone swing by to check on it, who fixed the couple of nail pop-ups that caused the leak. No charge. I was totally, flabbergastedly delighted at this level of excellence. Antietam Roofing, LLC far exceeded my expectations on workmanship, customer service and trustworthiness. Be respectful and kind to Jesse Kegley and his crew. Business owners like this and their level of craftsmanship are a dying breed.

Can't recommend these guys enough! Had a problem with the gutters on the front of my house -…read morewhenever there was a heavy rain, I had trails of water spilling out of my gutters and down the outside of the house. You could see and hear it spattering against the windows. Having just recently purchased the house, I figured the gutters were probably pretty clogged (the leaves are tenacious around here). So I called and scheduled for them to come clean my gutters. There was also talk of possibly installing gutter caps to keep the leaves out, etc. Also, my gutters are pretty high, and I really didn't want anyone walking on the roof (it's pretty steep, to a nasty drop). They respected my request - none of their men set foot on the roof. And here's the wonderful part - my gutters weren't clogged at all! The problem (as he explained to me) was where the gable meets the edge of the roof created a kind of sluice that kicks up the water velocity - causing it to jump out of the gutter and spill down the side of the house. Having explained that, he offered to install vertical guards at the ends of the gables (on the outside of the gutter) to cut down on the splash out. And that was all he charged me for! He could've hit me for checking the gutters (even though they were empty), but he didn't. He could've swindled me into believing I needed gutter caps to 'keep the leaves out just in case', but he didn't do that either. He knew his stuff, was spot-on in his diagnosis (this was over 8 months ago and we haven't had a problem since), and only charged me for the actual labor.
