We had this company come out to fix several leaks in our roof. The day that they showed up our…read morescaffolding disappeared. They denied taking it so there wasn't much we could do. A few days later it was clear that the leaks were not fixed, so we called and had the company back out. The service guy told my husband he didn't realize where the leaks were since he didn't think I knew what I was talking about. He made the decision to ignore me and do what he felt was best. The crew came back out, and by the next rain we saw that the leaks were still not repaired. We called the company back out again, and the project manager had no idea what to do. He said he would have to come back when it was actually raining. We never heard from him again. We called another company out for a consult and they said that the roof was full of holes, something that Bonded Applicators either caused, or completely ignored. Their estimate for the repairs was less than a third of what Bonded Applicators charged us. We decided to have the new company deal with the leaks, and lo and behold we haven't had an issue since. I contacted the owner and gave her a run down of what has happened, and at the end of our conversation her response was "So what do you want me to do about it?" I told her I wanted my money back, and she laughed. I sent her the report from the new company, as well as the pictures of the holes and she said she would look it over. Two weeks went by and I never heard from her, so I contacted her again. Her response was that they did the work they estimated they would do and she was not willing to do anything else.

Neither of these 2 contractors were prepared to give and estimate and presented no samples of the products they represented, and no color samples. I am still waiting for their estimates. It was a waste of my time. However, Avi, from American Custom Contractors was fully prepared with samples, recommendations and was able to give me my estimate in less than 30 minutes after we agreed on the products and colors. He had the software to input the data and presented an estimate that was within my budget with the first meeting. He was very professional, knowledgeable, timely, considerate and responsive to all my questions even after I signed the contract. In addition my research showed that this company is rated as A+ from the Better Business Bureau and 5 star rated from Google.
