The crew left after four hours with multiple shrubs untouched and the beech tree ignored. Worse, they shut off my sprinkler system's water supply and demanded payment before leaving. After the company completely ignored my repeated phone calls, I had to pay an additional service fee to an outside lawn care company just to turn my water back on. They promised to send someone to finish the job and never did. Zero communication, zero professionalism. I absolutely do not recommend them.

The whole process could not have not been any easier! Gary quoted the job while I was at work so…read morehe came by the next day for us to sign the contract. We just bought the house in the late winter and he walked around the property with us and told us what kind of trees we had (to me, a tree is a tree). He explained what was going to bloom and when. We learned so much about our landscaping from him! The project involved cutting down a spruce tree that was touching a chimney (fire hazard, says homeowners insurance) and trimming a locust tree that was touching the garage roof. Thankfully he prepared me that locust tree had not been trimmed in very long time and had a lot of dead branches in it so they would wind up cutting it back by about a third. We still had not moved in yet and the crew was well into the job when I arrived the day they started the work -- and I'm so glad Gary mentioned that they would be cutting it back the locust tree so much. In hindsight, it really needed it! I saw the limbs and branches that were on the ground and they were in bad shape. The crew manager explained that the guy removed the dead stuff and cut it back off the roof and was in the process of shaping the tree so it was aesthetically pleasing. It wound up looking very good and I'm excited to see how it looks once it has leaves (should be soon as we're mid-April). The crew was in and our fairly quickly. The cleanup was amazing! You'd never know that they cut down a tree and did substantial trimming on another tree as every single twig was removed! I would definitely contact Gary again for any tree service! Thanks Gary!

Warning - Do Not Trust Rock Bottom Tree Service…read more I'm writing this review to warn others: do not hire Rock Bottom Tree Service or do business with the owner, Brock. I hired them for a tree removal project and paid Brock a $3,000 deposit up front. After taking my money, he never showed up to start the job, made endless excuses, and eventually stopped answering calls or texts altogether. I gave him every opportunity to follow through, but he disappeared and ghosted me. This is theft--plain and simple. I trusted him to do the work and he took advantage of that trust. There's no professionalism, no accountability, and zero integrity here. If you're considering Rock Bottom Tree Service--don't. Save yourself the time, stress, and financial loss. I'm now pursuing legal action to try and recover my money. Let this be a warning to anyone thinking about hiring Brock or his company.
