Japanese chicken on udon noodles
Eric O.

The coffee wasn't bad I was a little dismayed at the selection for lunch, there were only five items on the menu. I choose Japanese chicken the presentation was great. The chicken was cooked in terriyaki sauce and the baked egg plant was cooked miso sauce and topped with honey. If you like honey and soy, you will like this dish. I found the dish delicious but a little salt but the sweetness help cut the saltiness.

Babychino. marshmallow was snaffled before I got a chance to take the photo!

I have to admit it took 5 minutes to actually find Chases Kitchen, it was kinda low key, there was…read moreno logo or anything big but we found it in the end. In the end we found a table and the waiter came straight away, he was very friendly and didn't mind that my mum didn't want dry fruit in her fruit salad. After a small chat the food came in, we were both surprised how quickly it was. I ordered the Boston Burger which was amazing and it came with plenty of chips and it filled me up really easily. The bread is really soft and the chips were very tasty! My mum enjoyed her fruit salad and was very happy with the restaurant (which can be very difficult). All in all I would 100% recommend going to this place, with friendly staff and amazing food what else is there to want?

The bread is specially soft and they come with thin crunchy fries. If you don't have much time on lunch break (like myself), called them to order in advance and their friendly staff will prepare a special table for you and everything. Looking for brekkie? They've got 'em all. I usually randomly ask them to prepare me some scrambled eggs on toast with mushrooms, tomato and spinach. The result is better than expected. Try their Benedict eggs as well. All worth it. Lovely and friendly staff! Nice background music!

I love these aesthetic coffee shops, but then again I love the cluttered ones as well, but it is…read morethe aesthetic nature of this place that I quite like. It isn't a huge coffee shop, and it is nowhere near as crowded as some of the other ones around the place, which is also pretty cool. The staff are quite friendly, and the coffee wasn't all that bad either. However, what I really liked about this place was just the relaxed atmosphere, the quiet surroundings, and the aesthetic design.

It's a beautifully designed little place, taking over the convenient corner space previously belonging to the Seddon Post Office. An all day breakfast spot, The Little Man offers the standard array of eggs, though someone at a nearby table ordered the 'Little Man's Burger' ($16 with chips or salad, one of three lunch options) and it looked freaking delicious. Will definitely give it a go next time I head there. They're clearly catering to the young family crowd in the area, with egg & soliders and nutella/jam crepes on the menu for the kiddies, as well as a doorway ramp practical for the ever growing size of prams these days. With HEAPS of lovely natural lighting and a huge share table in the front window, it seems like it's going to become a really great place to grab a coffee, do some work on a laptop or meet friends for breakkie. Latte was really smooth & nice, and while it was always going to be tough to live up to the coffee standards of their neighbour Common Galaxia, they're not too far behind. Give this adorable little place a few weeks to relax and settle in and it will no doubt become another well loved addition to the ever growing Victoria St.

Honestly. This venue…read moreoperates in a very competitive location and it also houses a very lucky position with itself sitting pole position from the Sun Theatre properties. However.. This seems to be one of the only positive aspects of the Business through my previous visit. As mentioned very competitive and populated area around Sun Theatre. The desserts are all outsourced, which is fine yet are clearly not kept or served with care. Cakes are dry and not as you'd least expect. Wine also tasted questionable which I find difficult to understand if it's due to the product itself ( Poor Menu Listing) or contained signs of aerated. [ We had the macadamia cheesecake with a glass of shiraz & rielsing] Staff service. Very poor. Caucasian Male staff member carrying on and walking in and out of the venue during our time spent and then returning with friends who would also allow themselves out back to the kitchen/food prep area and engage in social conversations with younger female staff in what was a clear desperate cry for attention and acceptance as a young male. Conversations could be heard throughout the venue about their desire to go out 'get pissed' and general respect towards other staff non involved in their conversations were very blunt for a team atmosphere. Confronted the staff regarding issues when leaving and was amazed at how quickly their attitude changed when behaviour was addressed. He's response was some what of a child being lectured by a teacher at school which leads me to believe he was full of sh*t when agreeing to his behaviour as poor status and will continue to behave with no care of the business he represents nor self presentation in the future. As mentioned. Venue is great and has potential and poor experience was definitely driven by the team representing the business that evening. I will not be returning.
