Honestly, when I first met Anthony, I didn't know bluestone from a blue moon. All I knew is my…read morebackyard was a disaster--a sloping area of hard-on-the-feet gravel and wobbly pavers descending to the pool. It was a lawsuit waiting to happen. So when Anthony arrived at our house we were a bit dumbfounded. We didn't know what we wanted other than a dramatic transformation that would make our outdoor area sparkle. Anthony sized up the sight and his mind started whirring--new products, old products, leveling, measuring, calculating, this could work, that won't. He suggested, he prodded, he dismissed and before he left we had a vision. He gave us three separate quotes and let us choose the one best for us. With his guidance we picked out stone, colors, landscaping materials. He, and we, could see in our minds a finished project. His heavy equipment arrived and was parked in our driveway. His crew was careful to make sure the bulky machinery never threatened bushes and grass. His crew worked each day, through 90+ degree temperatures and the progress was incremental but impressive. He has a staffer named Sergio who has the eye of an artist; the way he arranges and cuts and lays stone has some Donatello and Rodin elements to it. In less that two weeks, our backyard became a showcase. We were lucky, we have a contractor who has done a lot of work on our house. When we talked to him he said, you're doing stonework and landscaping? There is only one guy I trust. Thanks, Mike Casagrande, for introducing us to Anthony. All home improvement projects should go this smoothly, this expertly, and produce these spectacular results. The Anthony Group Hardscapes does not, will not, cannot come up short.
