Thankfully I was at the right place with a very low gas tank. I pulled in, and if you've never been to a Buc-ee's you're missing out. It's like 100 gas pumps. And massive store. I found a pump and got gas. Filled completely. Gas was $3.49 a gallon for regular unleaded. Normally I would have gone inside and do some shopping, but I was on a time restraint and wasn't able too. But I will make sure it's a destination next time. I feel like I didn't the most unTexas thing by not going inside, especially since it's a new Buc-ee's I'll be back. Can't take a road trip without a Buc-ee's stop

Anyway, this location looks enormous from the outside, but felt very small inside. I'm not sure if they are still working on stocking up, but there was a lot of space. Bathrooms were impeccable as always. Snack selection was good, except my fella and I were looking for sugar free salt water taffy and they had none. In fact there were no sugar free gummies either, which I'm certain they have at other locations. There was a tiny sliver of a wall dedicated to no added sugar chocolates. If that's your jam, there's something for you. The gifts and merch were great! Lots of fun and cute options!

Their tomato mix is the best I've ever had - it's very flavorful, just enough spice/not too spicy, just enough tomato & citrus juice, not sweet (I don't enjoy sugar in my beer) - an absolutely yummy treat!! I've also tried their shrimp plate which is absolutely the bomb.COM! It's a tray with a generous amount of cucumber, peanuts, shrimp, topped with a couple different types of hot sauce, a squeeze of lemon juice, and tajin! If you don't get this shrimp topping on your michelada definitely get the plate on the side. You could probably eat the whole serving as a meal or share with your compadre as a little appetizer. Whole Foods was formerly Whole Foods, not Amazon. Amazon corporate please allow the employees do…read moretheir work. Quality of the food & product care should be more important than efficiency. High-volume store can't keep tuna salad sandwiches on the shelf, and neglects the plants outside in the sun, zero shade without giving the employees any time to water the plants dying baking in the sun on hot concrete. The tuna salad burrito wrap is good except they use packaged pre-made flour tortillas, not fresh-made anymore, can't even eat that flour wrap. Amazon won't even staff their check-out lines, they've put it at one staff check-out person for a very busy location Wm Cannon Dr., Austin. Not the employee's fault, it's Amazon's. Still not sure how I can justify paying Prime for a small food discount, makes no sense for non-online shoppers and single people who don't have family incomes. Not sure why you stopped bringing in local farmer's produce as well. Sad to see the decline. Amazon executives behind their desk, not even at the stores, don't care.
