Very relaxing RV park. Ask for the 'garage spot' when making reservations. We lucked into it and it was the best spot on the grounds. Full hook ups plus cable tv. Wifi was excellent. Lots of room to spread out. Pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. They don't hit you over the head with rules as long as you follow basic RV etiquette. Great place to base when doing plantation tours. Will definitely come back!

We were traveling through the area and I found this campground on my Good Sam app. We paid $40.50 per night with our Good Sam discount. There was no on-site person, but that was not a problem for us. Cindy was available by phone and she was very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. We had a FHU site with easy pull through access on a concrete level pad. It was kind of neat that it was on a plantation. We didn't use any of the amenities, so I can't comment on them. Grounds look like they can use a little TLC, but it is adequate. I gave three stars because the noise at night coming from the barge company across the road was bothersome to me otherwise this campground is close enough to visit the many plantations in the area.

    Central area of the campground.

This is a very laid back casual campground with a very polite staff and well kept groinds.

What a great little gem of a place. Loved meeting Howard the park host and loved the tour of the Mansion. Will be back.

Very nice. Clean, has a pool, and quiet. RV parking a little pricey but it is the nicest one in the area. Wifi doesn't always work.

After a few minutes of going over the amenities we were escorted to our site and the gentleman stayed with us until we had parked and aligned with all the utilities and he verified that all our slide outs were clear of any of the trees. All the sites are pull-through sites which really makes it easy to get an early start the following morning. The site was very level and there was plenty of room to park our chase vehicle. The utilities and hookups are all well maintained and we had no issues. There are lots of things to do inside the campground although we chose just to get some steps in and visit the campground store before going to dinner in town and relax for the next leg of our trip. We were given some complimentary trinkets and souvenirs at the store of the surrounding area which was very nice of the staff and unexpected. This is definitely a place we would return to when traveling through the area everything here made for a great stay and we couldn't have asked for a better staff to interact with, this is definitely one of the top KOA's we've stayed at...

The place is located in an industrial area with random undesirable odors wafting around from the asphalt plants. It's near nothing interesting. I expect a little more for almost $600 per month. Who knows what weekly and nightly rates are. If you don't have to stay here, don't. This place is the overflow for Poche Plantation. Stay anywhere but here.

I've been living at Cane Row since early February, and I felt compelled to write this review…read morebecause this place deserves far more recognition. People may make assumptions because it's located near the casino, but that assumption would be completely wrong. This has been one of the most peaceful communities I've lived in. My dogs have absolutely thrived here. We walk four times a day, and there's beautiful green space by the pond where they can avoid hot asphalt. The sunsets are gorgeous, and the entire property feels calm and relaxing. People regularly fish here and catch bass and catfish, and the turtles seem incredibly happy too. The staff has been wonderful. Danielle and Bruce have been kind, responsive, and professional every time I've needed something. Packages are safe. Maintenance requests are handled quickly. The grounds are consistently clean and well-maintained. Many residents work long hours in utilities or construction, and everyone tends to be respectful, hardworking, and quiet. We've created a nice sense of community where people know each other while still respecting each other's privacy. No drama. No noise issues. No theft. And honestly, the only "criminal" I encountered was a possum that stole leftovers I accidentally left outside one night. There are clear signs around the pond letting people know not to swim or launch boats because of alligators, and management does a great job addressing wildlife concerns quickly whenever needed. There's also an on-site laundromat, nearby convenience store access, beautiful trees, biking space, and plenty of room to walk. I genuinely love living here and would absolutely recommend it.

The wifi sucks daily and all the run down campers on property makes this place look so trashy. I cant wait to get back to a REAL well kept RV park in Westlake La. I would suggest not staying here unless you absolutely have to, for the price you have to pay its not worth the headaches or money!! here are just a couple of photos and these aren't even the worse ones... Wish I could get a refund for the crap we have had to deal with...WILL NOT be staying here again if we get called back to do a job here in Convent!

But at the end of the day the only real problem was a group of local 40-somethings on TRT with their 3 pit bulls who were camping together in a group of 6. They basically hung out all day in lawn chairs getting hammered in the driveway section of their site (directly across from our site) basically just being d**ks. (there needs to be some sort of rule about pit bull kennels operating in a campsite)... But after they left, this RV campground became more calm and worth exploring and enjoying. There is a small lazy river, a large pool and a poolside bar. There is also a decent workout room available 24/7. The lakeside location of several camp sites was the draw for us, as was the evening entertainment while enjoying a few drinks. The campsites are all immaculate full hookup with excellent concrete pads. There are both back in and pull-throughs to accommodate most size rigs. It's only about an hour to New Orleans, so a sight-seeing trip there is easy to do. Very convenient to the I-10. Glad we stayed and we'd likely stay again when passing through.

The staff was very nice but not super informative (failed to give adequate info at check-in) or knowledgeable about the area (we needed an RV part and they weren't helpful even though there was two large RV stores very nearby). Our campsite was concrete with a patio, not level side to side. It rained quite a bit while we were there and there was a literal swamp completely surrounding our site. You couldn't get to the basement on the side or to the hookups without standing in water. The roads were fairly easy to navigate but many people parked out in the road which made it difficult to maneuver in the RV when leaving.
