The facility itself is clean and pretty up-to-date. The staff is exceptionally friendly and very professional. Like any KOA though it is very expensive relative to other sites so keep that in mind. We really enjoyed our stay.

We only stayed overnight at this location but our experience was very good. The staff is friendly and the campground is well kept. There was ample room at the site assigned to us for our 40' RV plus our toad. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Everyone was very friendly! The park is attractive and well kept. We were there in February 2021 (URI) and everything was great.

Great place with a nice pool. Across the street from Bass Pro. We like the place and would go back. People were friendly and helpful.

Its clean and friendly, just what you'd expect from KOA. A bit strange that the back half is a shanty MHP.

All the staff is very friendly and the customer service is great. However it's not very well maintained and seems a little rundown.

The ceiling has Spanish Moss hanging from it, making you feel like you're under the canopy of soaring trees in a swamp. At Christmastime, there's a huge tree and cheerful employees at the entrance welcoming you in. You really can't hate it here as much as you try. It's a one stop shop for those with masculine urges (killing things, being one with the elements, grilling dead things)--it's unapologetically so. And this vegan city slicker is definitely not their target audience but I like to have an open mind and I do appreciate the fact that you can find many many practical things here. I'm just not the most practical person. For example, I bought my boat here (2017 Tahoe 1950). Do I even know how to drive the thing? No. But my husband drives me around in it. I hate driving. I like boats. And I can handle nature in small doses (preferably not on triple digit high humidity days). And until you have floated or zipped around these glorious Louisiana waterways, you can't tell me that you are allergic to nature! I recognize a quality store when I see one, even if walking through 20 aisles of bait will never ever be my thing.

My almost…read more5 y/o daughter said she wants to go there everyday ;) It's nothing fancy, just a huge open gym space with lots of fun equipment in the back. My daughter is doing dance camp, and here are the reasons I love this place so far: 1) The owners and dance teachers are very approachable and seem to love what they do. 2) You can sign up for one day a week, and you pay each time you bring your child - just $40 per day or a discount if you buy more at a time. This is really the best part because with summertime comes lots of vacationing, and I know I can't commit to every Monday this summer and really don't want to have to keep her there for an entire week. It's so stress-free not having a contract or having to pay up front :) 3) The structure of the day: 2 hours total of gym time, arts and craft time, lunch time (bring your own), movie/cool down time, another structured sport-type activity...all in an 8 hour day! Oh and my daughter is certain her ballet and tap days are over ;) She already came home today on her first day showing us all her new moves...she never once did that in dance class. Can you tell this mommy is excited?!
