This has been my spot for a few years now. I've always loved the selection of fruits and…read morevegetables. The cashier (with the glasses) is always so sweet and kind. It's not a huge market, but it has a lot of variety. It looks like a small farmer's market -- it's cute. They also sell Turmeric, Spices and Herb plants off to the side. They sell a variety of honey, brown eggs and always have really sweet pineapples. Now what I will say is that the last few times I've been there have been NO oranges (and perhaps it hasn't been orange season), but I've always gone and gotten oranges from them and literally the last 4 or so times, I haven't been able to get any goods ones. They did have some bagged oranges, but I'm used to seeing the oranges where they now place the watermelon -- again, it could just be that they are out of season, idk. My ONLY gripe though has been that I haven't been getting good watermelons. They haven't been sweet nor ripe so I've been wasting a good amount of money over the last month. Also, I used to really love that their pricing was so much BETTER than your local grocery store, but I'm noticing, their prices aren't that far off anymore from their competitors. I used to be able to go and spend $40 and get everything I needed. My last trip, I spent nearly $70 and that prompted me to start paying more attention when I go the next time.

I guess we are spoiled here in south Florida as there are several local produce markets with much better prices and better quality. But it's always interesting to look around and see what another place has on display. We did buy some apples. Unfortunately, these turned out to be mealy and we wound up tossing the rest of the batch. We bought some fingerling potatoes which turned green a tad early, but before they did, we managed to cook a few of them first and they were okay. They had a lot of other items besides vegetables -- including jams and jellies and honey, et al. We felt these items were a little bit too expensive for us to purchase, as well. I'm still glad we stopped by to check them out. Now we know.

I love that this farm is still thriving amidst all the development going around it…read more There is plenty of parking and lots to do. They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.

We picked an entire box which is provided at check in. Live music and great food at the food trucks. I've had both the pizza and tacos/quesadilla/rice bowls. All are great. Kids will love it. Worth the drive. We will return for blueberry season.
