I contacted them immediately. The owner, Ivan, professed how someone would be out the next day to repair it and that he was going to "make it right". Did they show up? Nope. I received a text from Ivan that "the crew was too exhausted", but only after I inquired of course. Fast forward 8 months and still no remuneration for the damage. This business owner has sent the following texts to my inquiries about where the check is for the repair, since they failed to complete the repairs as stated they would. These are copy and pasted from my texts: "I'm going to hand-deliver one personally tomorrow. I'm so sorry. I can't seem to get anyone employee wise to do such a simple task, correctly." "Good morning I apologize when I went to write you a check. I realized we were out of checks and I ordered some. I forgot to write one later on that week. I'll be sending one out in the mail today. Please let me know if you don't receive it by Wednesday thank you so much!" And these are only a snapshot of the failed promises to make it right. They don't stand by their word. Pathetic.

So when she decided to whip some crazy weather…read morethrough the Milwaukee area- cracking branches off of mature trees that landed on the roofs of a couple of my properties- I knew it was time to take some action. Enter in Dennis and Son Tree Service. They called me back promptly- I explained the work that I needed done (defensive action against the trees on one roof- and offensive action toward future Mother Nature outbursts by clearing some trees away from the house at another location) Matt (would this be the son of Dennis and son?) told me he'd have an estimate to me later that same day and true to his word it arrived via fax. The price was right- the timing to have the work done- the next day, and he asked for no deposit or anything even though this was all handled over the phone. Told me just to send him a chieck when the work was complete. Love that! My trees were trimmed, offending branches removed and all the debris hauled away.
