We are a small Veteran owned business located in the city of La Grande, in Eastern Oregon. PnD is proudly owned and operated by Pat Owen. We do mobile sharpening of beauty/barber shears, fabric shears, scissors, knives and slicers, as well as sharpening clipper blades and most anything with an edge at our shop. Pat has over 50 years of experience sharpening pocket knives, drill bits, woodworking tools, kitchen cutlery, stylist shears, and just about anything that can take an edge!

History

Established in 2011.

We are a family owned and operated business whose roots go back 45 years. We started our business in June of 2011, and have built it to include state of the art machines for sharpening. These include the Tormek T7 and associated jigs for sharpening most tools, a diamond knife sharpening machine for finishing & fine honing knives, (including japanese 15 deg blades) specialty grinders for drill bits, specialized grinders for scissors/shears, barber/beauty shears, and clipper blades.

Meet the Business Owner: Pat O.

Pat is the Owner of PnD Sharpening Services. He learned tool sharpening from his father. He has been around wood working his entire life and started doing wood working at ten and metal working in his early teens. Pat knows the importance of keeping your tools sharp and in good working order. Pat enjoys a sharp quality knife and keeps his J. A.
