Took our 10 yr old with special needs for her asthma. They were so kind and gentle with her! We were in and out in less than an hour!

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I'm extremely disappointed with this urgent care. I brought my 2-year-old daughter in on a Friday with a 103 fever and smelly urine, concerned about a UTI. I told the nurse my concerns, but she only gave me a cup and expected my toddler to pee in it. When that didn't work, the doctor came in, quickly dismissed my concerns, and insisted it was vaginitis. I strongly disagreed and asked for a catheter sample, but after a painful and unsuccessful attempt, they told me to try collecting urine at home instead. I couldn't shake the feeling something was wrong, so I called my pediatrician. As soon as I mentioned her 103 fever, they told me to go straight to the ER. My daughter was admitted for two nights with a confirmed UTI. The urgent care doctor was dismissive, didn't listen, and gave us no discharge papers. Now I'm disputing the bill, since they provided no real care. The center manager won't return my calls. This place is unprofessional, and I will never bring my children here again. read more

We been coming to this location for years and this is the first time they ask for payment upfront. We have insurance and we don't have a copayment. They almost refused treatment. The only reason they agreed to see my son was because they verified that my deductible was met. It is obvious now they only care about the money and not the patients. We will not be coming back to this location again. If this is a new policy for PM pediatrics, we will not even be going to the other locations. read more

Do not go to Holmdel they shouldn't be allowed to diagnose children. My 9 month old grand daughter was brought in and was checked. They checked her ears and said they were clear and just had a cold. My son in law brought her to a real pediatrician and found ear infection and one way was severe, which could affect her speech if it wasn't treated. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PLACES WHO CANT ENEN DETECT AN EAR INFECTION. read more

This place had us waiting for from 5:00-6:50 beyond. Because they considered us a walk in and didn't have us checked in when we had an appointment when we came early. The lady at the desk said she would check us in but we had to wait for over two hours. Do not go here, go literally anywhere else. Even a hospital would be better or the ER service wise. The two times we have came here it has been awful, and I seriously hope that this place goes out of business after the service. Their hand sanitizer was also not refilled in our room and it was dirty. Weird for a doctors office. wish I could below one star read more

After Making an appointment online for my grandson, (and registering him fully prior)..... I signed in through solv.healthcare upon arrival. I was told at time of appointment that as a legal guardian grandparent that I would need proof of guardianship before a medical professional would see him. NOTHING prior was noted, nor closely brought to my attention. Registration time, Travel time, Sign-IN/Wait time, WASTED TIME! Not to mention my ill 11yr old grandson enduring this. His name is listed on my health insurance card! Not sure the overall review of this struggling practice can get much lower. read more

This place is avg but a few things can improve the service easily. I like how you see what number in line you are ..whether walk-in or appt. The ability to sit in your car and avoid the constant kid germs is a plus. The service from medical staff is good..not amazing but for a business that turns over this many patients in a day during these months of the year is expected. My biggest gripe is with how you get put on the waiting list. You walk in ...the person behind the desk tells you to scan a QR code to fill out paperwork and this gets you placed on the list. My issue is when 3 people walk-in at the same time and you turn out to be the slower Typer/document uploader you get passed by these people. If I am at the counter first I should be seen first not seen third bc the other two people type faster. This is some Hunger Games nonsense lol. This needs to be fixed. And why have two people working the counter just talking to each other when I'm the one filling all the stuff out and they are doing nothing at all. Waste of payroll And the cut and paste response from the business to each review is lame. Just address the issues. When you email nothing comes of it read more

I have NEVER been so dissatisfied with an Urgent Care visit. I booked an appointment because my throat was in so much pain and it was easier to book an appointment to go to right from work. Let me start off by saying, the assistants in the beginning are so so sweet. However, the doctor (don't remember her name) was so rude. She didn't even look at me. She was in the room for 45 seconds. She "felt" around my throat and said nothing feels swollen but then said it looks swollen. I then told her I'm in so much pain and what can I do for it & what could possibly be wrong. She said, gargle salt water and I'm not sure. My strep test back negative is what she said and then sent me on my way. I've never felt so rushed out of place. This is my second time and here and I had the same experience. Horrible service. Worst part is... I went to an urgent care near home the same day ( 3 hours after) and tested POSITIVE for strep and the doctor felt my throat informing me how swollen my lymph nodes are. He was so kind and tried to answer all questions. Never coming back and I will tell everyone I can to go to any urgent care but this one. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE my advice as a medical professional is to go to the emergency room This place does non diagnostic studies Don't ever trust them My son went to them 3 weeks ago after an injury to his fingers They said why did you rush and bring him it's getting better already but we will X-ray him They did X-ray said it's all good no broken bones. 3 weeks later his fingers are still swollen so his pediatrician decided to repeat X-ray and he has 4 broken fingers. Can't get in touch with any manager or supervisor there or at their call center either that for all I know isn't even in this country. read more

Don't go there, to PM Pediatrics! They lost my son's test sample right before traveling. We had to go to another clinic to get a quick test for a steeper fee. I complained to them, however they didn't care. I got a very dismissive email from the Chief Experience Officer - Jason Dupuis. So much for a good experience. 8 days ago I left a review about a billing issue. A reply was posted and I received an email asking for my phone number, my child's name, dob, etc. even an offer to call me on Saturday. I replied with my daughters acct# and wrote that I would be happy to provide additional info when someone contacted me. I said I could be available at any time. Well it has been radio silence. The reply to my review offering to help is simply to save face. They don't reach out. Be warned. Watch your children's accounts for fraudulent pt balances. If an insurance applies a contractual adjustment and NO patient responsibility they can not bill for copays. read more

First off this place needs to move the 4 chairs away from the front desk as if that is going to do anything . It's actually trashy looking and a disgrace to children parents and society. How about no one wants to be near you either ? You work in a sick medical facility and yet you think piling up chairs so that parents cannot get close to you will do anything? Stop the antics ! If I could give less than one star I would. I brought my son with a very bad headache, nasal congestion and constant eyes blinking. I was rudely told by the doctor that it was just my child "stimming" and that autistic children are hard to treat. In 9 years my son never exhibited eye blinking as a sign of autism so this was a change. Something that a professional doctor should be concerned about. Not disregard. She told me she could do nothing because he didn't have a fever. I asked for his temp to be retaken. I was told it was 100.1 "on its way to a fever" so I asked if her diagnoses or opinion changed and she said no and that was it. I called my sons primary pediatrician when we left and she was horrified for her lack of concern and compassion and said I should file a complaint so I will be doing that! read more

I have always had a great experience here. I've come in for xrays, bloodwork, illness etc, and I am always met with a caring person.

I came here about a week ago with a horrible sore throat with white puss bumps in the back of my throat.The doctor seemed like I was being a burden to he. It was at a later time because I had work but that's beside the point. Your supposed to be there to help whoever comes at whatever time your open. Told her I had a really bad sore throat I could hardly swallow and she did a strep test, didn't even look in my throat and told me I was fine. I went to a different doctor the next day and they told me that I had the worst strep they have ever seen. Will never be going back to this location because of the reasons stated above. I suggest you re-consider ever going here as well. read more

We had an excellent experience at this facility today. Scheduling an urgent care appointment even on a Sunday was a breeze with their online system. When I arrived the receptionist was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We were seen right on time even with the new patient paperwork. I was worried about exposing my newborn to a waiting room of sick children but they only had a couple other families there- and it was quite spacious and clean. The nurse and doctor both had great bedside manner, and most importantly addressed our concerns thoroughly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience- thanks! read more

Every step along the way, from check in, to the receptionist, to the time with the nurse and then with the doctor; was all met with a smile and an empathetic ear. Dr Rapston was so nice, patient and friendly and truly put my daughter at ease. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. Their hours of operation were also a blessing. If I could give this less than one star I would. We went to the Marlboro location with my 8 month old for a follow up to an double ear infection that did not cleared up. Explained my child did not respond well to a particular antibiotic since she is so young it was advised to avoid it by ped. ESP given the broader family medical history. It caused skin blisters, peeling, body rash and some swelling. When the dr prescribed it we told her we would need a diff antibiotic and explained the above. I was disregard and dismissed and told that it was just a diaper rash and a probiotic would solve that. She refused to change her recommendation and implored me to give the medication with the full knowledge of what I explained. Continued to tell me what the guidelines were and that I should disregard my concerns for the medication even though my daughter has taken this and has resulted in far greater issues that what it was suppose to resolve. Her response was well bring her back in for another visit and more medication. That is unethical and wildly concerning that a parents concerns and medical history was so easily dismissed. The doctor was not treating the patient she was reading from her list of guidances without taking the patient into consideration. read more

The good: we made an appointment and were taken in to an examination room shortly after we arrived. We came for an x Ray and left with an x Ray. We were also given recommendations for follow up. The not good: my co-pay was $26.40 and we were asked to "round up to $30 because that's what we ask other parents do." I've Never been asked to round up before in any other medical facility, or anywhere else for that matter. Struck me as really odd. We Got into the room to get what we came for - an x ray of my daughter's arm - and were given a really hard time by the doctor for not wanting pain killers to the extent that it felt like harassment. They started asking other questions seemingly unrelated to what we were there for - an arm injury. When I said no to the purple liquid cup of (what they said was pain med) They asked what we do for fevers, colds, and why would we ever refuse a pain killer. I explained I was there for an x Ray and not pain killers, that there may be an allergy, and that regardless we came to diagnose the arm not to manage pain. They let us know they were not aligned with/did not approve of our position on not taking the purple liquid. They made me feel like my decision as the parent was not ok and that they knew better than I did. I later came to find out after sharing the story with family members in the medical field that it's unethical to push pain killers especially when there has been no request for them. I've been here with my son twice so far, both at times our regular doctor wasn't in the office, the most resent time being last night. My some was vomiting and I was concerned. It was 11pm and I didn't want to wait at Bayshore or some other hospital for hours just so they could tell me he had a stomach bug, so we ran over to PM Pediatrics. The staff greeted me nicely, I was half expecting some evil eye because they were closing soon, but no way, the staff is very professional and welcoming, even at that late hour. The place is big, clean (no toys, yay!) and the staff is very friendly. Both times My son was seen pretty quickly, although on the weekends they get busy fast. The doctors are patient, caring and very informative. What I really liked was that they followed up with my sons primary physicians office and called me a few days later to see if my son was feeling better. Anytime my son needs care and his doctor is unavailable I will be going here. read more

I learned about PM Pediatrics from driving around the area. I was so glad to know there was a place to go other than the hospital in the event of my son being ill "after hours". Last night, I took my 2 year old in because he has had a bad cough and was pulling on his ears. Not wanting to wait to see my regular pediatrician, we took the ride over to Holmdel. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the lovely receptionist helped me with all of the paperwork. She was extremely patient, as I only had a picture of his primary insurance card, and worked with what I had. Within minutes, we were brought into the patient room, which happened to be "Jake and the Neverland Pirates" themed (coincidentally my son's current favorite!). Each room was uniquely decorated and had a television in it. My son was sleeping but if he wasn't I know this would've been a great distraction! The nurse was as sweet as could be and worked quickly and delicately so my son could remain asleep. Very soon after she left, the doctor came in and was just as wonderful. He really listened to what I had to say regarding his symptoms and asked thoughtful questions. He was very attentive and noticed that my son also had a crusty eye discharge. He gave him an antibiotic that would cover the ear and the eye should it be conjunctivitis. My son had an ear infection and some congestion. Within minutes, we had our e-script sent to our pharmacy and we were happily on our way. All told, we were in and out of the office in well under an hour (including initial paperwork). The office was immaculate and cheerfully decorated. The staff and doctor were amazingly nice, which is always a help when you are frazzled with a sick (and cranky) toddler. Without hesitation, I would recommend this office for any urgent issue. read more

First let me say that Dr. Moses was fantastic this evening. He explained everything to my son and did a very thorough examination. Could not have asked for better. But I was not thrilled with the customer service At the front desk. I was told to sit by a pleasant front desk staff member when I walked in with my son and was told if we checked in online she would call us in a bit. Thirty minutes later, I asked If we needed to do anything as I watch all the walk ins go back to see the providers. The second front desk staff member, who had Just come out to assist, acted like she was doing me a favor when she came out to assist. If you are doing a job, please do it with a smile especially when you work in healthcare, Parents are worried about their children and don't need a miserable face at reception. During the registration process, she pointed out the error I made registering on-line- I explained I tried to correct it and then she condescendingly asked if I was ok when I couldn't hear her over the blaring TV. A nasty attitude in a pediatric urgent care is not needed and btw I am a parent and a provider. I don't speak to my patients rudely and I don't expect to be spoken to that way in return. Maybe AIDET and customer service training would help your front desk staff learn to interact in a nicer manner with the patients and their parents. Dr. Moses was the saving grace during this visit which is what you want but you always want to feel respected from the moment you walk in the door. read more

The Dr I saw with my son yesterday was the most rude, condescending and aggressive Dr that I have EVER come across. She burst into the door with an attitude and didn't listen to a word I said. She totally minimized my sons symptoms and I was disgusted that I had to deal with that, can't wait to get the bill! Mind you, I took my son to his primary care Dr today and he is very ill. This could have and should have been taken care of yesterday by PM pediatrics but it wasn't because this lame excuse for a Dr was trying too hard to be a know it all to listen to me and actually look in my sons ears or listen to his chest like I asked her to I WILL NEVER BE BACK read more

My 10 year old son had bad ear pain at like 8:30pm and was crying from the pain. The majority of urgent care places close at 8pm. We picked this place because they were opened late, I believe until like midnight. The place was spotless, looked brand new. The staff was attentive and friendly. Dr Rapson saw my son and determined it was swimmers ear (after my sons primary said it was just allergies). They prescribed ear drops and he was better in no time. They even called 2 days later to check in on him to see if he was feeling better. I highly recommend. Great place! read more

I took my 2 year old daughter in this past Monday at 7pm...I was upset as she had hurt her arm on the playground and I was so worried it may be broken or seriously hurt. The staff had us checked in within seconds and after less than 2 minutes we were talking to a doctor. The pediatrician was professional and reassuring and had her elbow socket back in place without my baby even noticing. We were back on the road by 7:15 pm. I think a trip to Starbucks would have taken longer ;) Also they called a few days later to check in on her (she is doing great btw). I could not be happier with the experience. read more

Watch out this place is shady and they steel. They billed me 3 times for the same copay and as a busy mom without realizing it I payed it 3 times... The nerve of them to sent me yet another bill after already paying it 3 times made me look back at my statements. I called them and after I provided them with proof of paying 3 times they said they would sent me a check for the overpayment and it's been almost 2 months and nothing. Now when I call I get the run around. The girl from the billing department is nasty and loud. I was speaking about aftercare facilities to my regular pediatrician and they spoke very highly about PM Pediatrics. They said that some of their regular patients had a good experience using them. So when my son who is 14yr. got hurt playing football. I didn't want to go to the ER and wait forever. We went to PM Pediatrics and were greeted by Jay at the front desk. With in one hour we saw a physician Dr. Leopold who was excellent, received an x-ray and was out the door with diagnosis and treatment in hand. I thought the facility was very clean, the doctors and nurses were very knowledgeable and may my son feel very comfortable. I would definitely use them again and recommend them for anybody with children, no matter what age, read more

My daughter was in a lot of pain from getting hit in the eye the day before. We saw the nurse practitioner and she stained her eye to check for a scratch and said she didn't find one. She hardly looked at her swollen red eye. I wasn't too happy with not seeing a Pediatric doctor because thats the only reason I took my 5 yr old there on a sunday. I was told she just has an irritation from rubbing and to use saline. We went home and she was getting worse and still in lots of pain. I called and spoke to the pediatrician there and she said well if shes still in pain and her eye is watering then she must have a scratch. Told me to start a eye drop we had left over from a pink eye problem few weeks ago. Really? First I paid a specialist fee to see a nurse practitioner and then she didn't even find the scratch or provide real pain relief for my daughter. I watched her get worse and the next day took her to her reg Dr and then to a pediatric ophlamalogist who stained her eye and showed me the big scratch on her cornea. I trusted this place to help and treat my daughter and I will not be returning again. I will just go to another walk in for emergencies. read more
