In an area where you can get Surifood around every corner (literally), this place is always packed. Last time I ate at this place was 7 years ago (used to work near Bijlmer Station and frequented the place at least once a week) and I was recently delighted to find out they have literally stepped up their game: Brouwerij 't IJ beer in the fridge and a unparalleled (except maybe only to Roopram) roti production line in the front. If you are a Surifood enthousiast (which I am), happen to work in the area (which I did) or just happen to be around or within travel distance, this place is worth the visit. Especially during lunch, this place is worth the visit (the seating is Spartan at best and I wouldn't use words such as cosy, or relaxing to describe the interior). Also very glad to see a smart entrepreneur bridge cultural gaps and bring word food to a new audience (things like Craft beer in the fridge make it more enticing and recognizable for anyone who is inexperianced with the cuisine). Stopped at this large supermarket to pick up an inexpensive dinner and to check to see if they have…read morethe freshly squeezed orange juice like they have at the Lidl markets in Portugal and Spain and they do!! A deliciously fresh bottle of juice for under 3 euros! You put your bottle under the spout, push the button, and watch as your fresh juice is squeezed into your bottle. The juice is fantastic and you can taste the freshness of it. The oranges are just sweet enough and it's so wonderful to know it's all juice with no additives. The bottle is about 6 oz., but you can also purchase a larger bottle (can't remember the cost). There's no way you can get a bottle of fresh OJ in the states for this little bit of money! The food they carry seems to be pretty much on the healthy side. They have ready made meals you can get for a quick dinner. There are also the regular grocery items for those looking for more. Lots of different ready made salads, a meat market, fresh veggies, a fish/seafood section, and a bakery are also here. Their offerings are extensive and it's a great place to pop in for a quick meal or snack item. Having been to other numerous locations all over Holland I believe it. I especially like the prepared food section in the front, when you enter. There is a big selection of items. They usually have a few items on special and are clearly marked. My favorite item to buy was a pasta carbonara. Ate that almost everyday. Also, they do take credit cards. My favorite market chain in Holland for sure. Recommended.

This is a "To Go" location so they have fewer household items and more geared towards commuters or people passing through. We actually walk here to get lunch from the offices nearby. It is very open and spread out. Nicely lighted and high ceilings. Lot's of self-checkout....(only). But I THINK they take actual credit cards, I know some other To Go stores do.
