I wanted to get the video transferred to DVD and thumb drive. I figured I would leave the tape woth him for a couple of days or so. He told me he would be able to have it done by the end of the day. Rather than drive to Hartford and wait, I spent some time in the town. He texted me around 4pm, sooner than I expected and that I could pick it up. He provided the tape and the digitized recording of it on a thumb drive. On the drive back I listened to it all the way home. Sounded great He was professional, kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who considers similar work for those who don't wish to risk digitizing their own audio cassettes on potentially unreliable tape decks Thank you once again!

A few years back I found a spool of Korea-era NATO footage at an estate sale. The film was in BAD shape with almost 200 splices on 13 minutes of tape. TFG worked diligently, carefully, and delivered a final product where a very small number of the splices are noticeable in the sound and none are noticeable in the footage. They did a fantastic job on the splices. The digitization quality was exception and TFG sent me both the compressed MPG file and uncompressed AVI, which allowed me to do some editing on the video and sound track. The result was exceptional. I recommend TFG transfer for video transfers. Their results are high-quality, turn-around time good, and responsiveness to customer questions exceptional.

Run, don't walk! Sent in reels of 8 mm to convert to digital dvd - the final product, after 2…read moremonths in-house, is in a word, abysmal. Grainy is one thing and I certainly didn't expect perfection, but the entire sequence of work was blurry, out of registration with artifacts and severe green ghost image to the right of the subject while moving and green halos when not. It is really, really, horrible to watch. The format is not 16:9 ratio, so to get any clarity (and I use the term lightly), you must modify your tv screen settings. There were dust globs obscuring the picture in many scenes - theirs or the original, I do not know. Almost $200 and so bad, I can't even look at it. Find another company who knows what they're doing - do not be fooled by their website as authorities, as I was. I emailed about the poor quality of the digital conversion and received no reply. They have their money and are not concerned about customer satisfaction.
