I literally went through three pool services and thought that I would never find a company that would do what they say and say what they do. A local pool company suggested Greg's. I called on a Saturday and he actually answered his phone. I explained my situation and he said that he'd be out early in the week. Greg arrived on time (I was just happy that he showed up) and I explained that we were wanting to repair the salt water system and ditch the chlorine. I was working with my home warranty on that part. Greg explained what was going to happen with our weekly service. His charges are reasonable and I feel that they deserve every penny. That was nearly a year ago. I can honestly say that we never even think about the pool. Sean is our tech and he arrives every Thursday morning and does his thing. Destiny gave a quote for the repair, and that amount was deducted from the sale price of the house, as part of our negotiation. I made seven calls, to Destiny, once a week, beginning in January, to ask them to begin the renovation. NOT ONCE did anyone call me back during that entire time, except last week when a lady from the office said they would NOT renovate my pool at all, they have no intent. ie. they would not honor their bid. She said the bid had been made a 'year ago'...when it was actually 6 months. There are not many who do pool renovations in Lubbock, but when I did find one, the cost is double the quoted bid from Destiny. So the conclusion one might make is that Destiny never intended to renovate the pool, estimate was "low" at $17,500. This is entirely factual. One can make their own conclusion from the facts, but be warned, they do not honor their word or bid.

So as the deadline slowly creeped up I panicked. I grabbed the phone and called Sotelo. These guys came by to check the house the same day, sent me an estimate that evening and began the next morning. They worked 12-14 hour days 4 days straight to finish my house in time for listing. They were extremely polite and helpful, even offering to help me move furniture around the house when it was too heavy for me to do alone. I can tell you how impressed I was with their work ethic and the final product. I found a couple spots that needed adjustments and without complaint or hesitation they jumped right on it. I know what a hard job it was and how stressful it had to be for them with the time constraints but they guys were above and beyond what I could have hoped for. I will NEVER try to do flooring alone again. I'm calling this company every time!
