As an independent freelancer with a growing clientele, when it came time to create my own website…read morewith Squarespace, I thought it would be an easy, straightforward process. Long story short, I couldn't have been more wrong. Although creating an account was a relatively simple process, setting up a website that was both functional and aesthetic was far less straightforward than it was advertised to be. For people who have full time jobs, working through the nuances of website design--how to manipulate images, change spacing between elements, understand how your site will function on a desktop vs. mobile, etc.--is exhausting. Squarespace doesn't offer any direct customer support, and when you do email them for help, they simply send you links to read and "how to" videos to watch. All in all the time and energy it takes to learn how to work with simple design elements can be extremely discouraging. Yes, you can set up a site, but there will be lots of things wrong with it and it will never really look like a professionally built site, which of course it isn't. Working with Mark, however, was simple, easy, and ultimately saved me an incredible amount of energy. After trying to work on my own with Squarespace for almost 2 years, I had a website, but it was nothing like what Mark was able to produce in a short period of time. What's more, working with Mark provided me with a website that was functional, professional, and beautifully reflects my personal brand. Not only does he possess an intricate off-hand knowledge of how the platform works, but he understands custom coding and will go to any lengths necessary to make sure you get what you want when it comes to the design of your site. His precision and attention to detail are major assets in his ability to create professional websites, as are his unique design ideas. Given his skill level and the personal attention he offers I would definitely say that working with Mark is guaranteed to vastly improve the look and feel of your site while saving you an enormous amount of time.

When I contacted Mark I had no idea what I wanted and I was slightly all over the place. As a result, he suggested we meet in person so he could get a feel for my personality in order to create an aesthetic that truly captures who I am and what I was trying to convey. From the moment we met I felt an immediate confidence in him and inspiration within myself. He asked great questions and was able to help me to consolidate my thoughts and what I wanted to convey to the public about my private psychology practice. Shortly after our first meeting, Mark sent me a draft that exceeded expectations. He included everything we discussed and created a visual which complemented my personality and my practice perfectly!! He took my corrections and feedback and implemented them immediately and improved upon my suggestions in a way only he could. Working with Mark was an extremely pleasant experience. He was patient, creative, informative, and he kept me focused. Our collaboration resulted in a website that is not only beautiful but sets the tone for potential clients on what working with me would feel like. I can't say enough good things about Mark! Use him and you too will be wowed I promise!!

They handled my website, logo, brand identity, and podcast production, and I can say without hesitation that their work is exemplary. Not just visually clean, but strategically sound. Their professionalism, attention, accuracy, design influence and delivery has been nothing but spectacular. Not being a web designer, nor having the patience to do it (since I am focusing on other business) was a big concern for me. I found EVM thru Shopify and I am extremely happy that I did. They built my site out in less than a week and have always been there for me. Even helping with the little tweaks and adjustments that I needed. I have worked with programmers in the past on other sites....they could literally be sitting in the same room as I was and not complete the task nearly as fast as the team at EVM can. I'm super grateful for the work they have done and look forward to continuing the relationship that we have developed. If you are just launching your Shopify store and are as confused as I was building the site, look no further. This is the team that you need to use! You can thank me later. :-)
