She gave me a wonderful massage, talking to me when I talked and working silently if I was silent. Her location, while small, was very comfortable and soothing. I was able to make an appointment online (for the next day), and received good communication on that also, through text. It was a lovely experience, and the only thing stopping me from returning on a regular basis is cost. Massage in general is not inexpensive, and is a treat for me. I would say Kalia's prices are higher than others, but there were so many positives also.

Do you smoke? Do you drink? Etc. I've gotten hundreds of massages and this questionnaire didn't relate to anything necessary to be asked. When you walk in, everything is disorganized. I set our appointment, (couples massage w sauna), a month in advanced and the day before he calls and tells me that he is the only one working. I say ok, it's fine. But the weird thing is that he told my fiancé that he's the only one who works there??? It honestly looks like he lives in the building before you walk to the back massage room. He even yelled at my fiancé for not getting all the way under the bottom sheet. VERY CREEPY atmosphere with literal holes in the wall. Bags everywhere, old items for sale, curtains like hospital bed divider type curtains when you first walk in. He even asked my fiancé for a tip. I honestly got creepy feelings. Luckily my fiancé went in first cause he even felt super creeped out. I wish I would of pulled him out the room before it even began. Please, do not come here. Especially if you are a women, alone. She welcomed me in and gave me an AMAZING haircut and had a cool conversation about life and living. EXTREMELY happy that I stopped in and gave this business a chance. As a male (with longer hair) I appreciated the fact that they cut men's hair. Even if I didn't have longer hair, I'd still HIGHLY recommend this place for your next hair appt. I'd also like to say that I'm super jazzed about Heather Brown Hardwick running for mayor.
