No longer is it the same--the center was usually a soccer playground (and now it is covered with rails and flowers everywhere). More play things for children now than before. It does look nicer than it did before. I do miss how it looked before. Melancholy. A good park to walk your dog, or sit and read a book. They still have the tables to play chess (I think). Almagro feels very real and inclusive of the daily life of buenos aires.
