I was told after I put all my soap, money, and clothes in that it was out of order. If they already knew that, I could've saved my time and money with a simple sign. Help was not provided and it was a frustrating experience. The employee Elly could have done something to help. Plus, the sign was still not put up by the time I left. It was ridiculous.

I asked the attendant who put it in there . She replied " I did" . I came back 5 mins later and asked for a refund because she put that in there without asking and I paid for the service not her. She refused to give me the refund which was $18 She also said she didn't know who did it even though 5 mins ago she said did it. I asked to see camera footage and she looked at me like a deer in the headlights . I will be calling the owner of the mat and asking for a refund for the poor, RUDE, and disgusting service .

So a quick trip to google showed that this was one of the closest laundromats- there isn't one in Christina Lake or Greenwood. It was definitely worth the hour drive through the Crowsnest and over a few summits in February to get there. The staff was nice and friendly and told me where the nearest atm was so I could get the money out to do my laundry. I'll definitely drive back there again while I'm working in Grand Forks.

Sorry for long read We have used this Laundrymat for years…read moreand never had any issue with the staff or anyone Until yesterday .. We come to town once or twice a month to visit my son's we live about three years hour ...we do our laundry there because my partner can wash n vacuum the vehicle while we are doing laundry Yesterday me my partner and my son went to do laundry my partner and my son loaded the washers I was in the vehicle ..when it was time for clothes to go in dryer I went in to help my partner ... A lady unloaded one dryer she was using ,put her laundry in the basket and walked away from the dryer walked around the washers to come back to the dryer she just unloaded and said to me " I was using that " I said "sorry you walked away" then she started swearing at me and getting ruder , louder and then she threatened me I said to her again "you walked away you emptied the dryer FFS " (My spouse meanwhile had loaded two dryers and tried to load a third one but it was broken . The attendant said just use that dryer The one the lady just unloaded ) So then I raised my voice and said "did you just threaten me " She said "yeah I'm going to do more if you don't get away from that dryer " So then I got mad and yelled "I'm calling the cops I don't need your shit" Not because I was scared of her but because this situation was getting worse and worse by the second and I walked out to the vehicle where my son was My partner and others heard her what she was saying .. Others saw her empty the damn dryer and walk away .. Needless to say other ppl called the police as well ..because I got loud The lady tried to tell the police officer I was a crackhead so I loudly told the cop I am very proud I have been clean for five years and hell was willing to take a drug test .. The staff told the police they don't want us coming back I laughed and told the one police officer they don't have to worry about that because I would never support this place ever again We did nothing wrong but try to put our clothes into a empty dryer and we ended up getting threatened by a aggressive mentally unstable woman .. No one deserves that and no one is going up put up with that I told the police look I just want my partner to be able to finish drying our clothes .. I didn't go back in there but my partner told the police officer that the lady couldn't be freaking out towards him either he wanted her to just leave him alone She was also trying to say someone took her clothes out when of a dryer but that was a boldfaced lie because it was one of OUR dryers that was loaded with our laundry .. So beware if you go there and run into a skinny woman with brown hair that was in a ponytail She was wearing a white baseball hat her ponytail was through the hole in back and she was wearing what looked like a white painters coverall looking thing ... and tbh The owners , managers and staff also definately don't have to worry about us ever coming there or ever telling ppl about it ... ...there is a much better cleaner and more politely run Laundry mat in Nelson People should go try the Laundrymat in the Plaza in Nelson It's much nicer , cleaner and so much Better then this dump Plaza Laundromat (250) 352-6077

I use to give this a 5 star but the water pressure is not good enough anymore to help lift the dirt…read moreoff and the soap hardly comes out for the wash with the wands. To much money for amount of time given and the new touch screens take to long to switch over and waste already precious seconds that are already needed for the very short wash. The touch less wash is to glitchy and doesn't seem to operate properly for a gold wash half the time. Lower the prices or fix the problem and increase water pressure or give more wash time and that'll be fair enough.
