Came out to repair my oven ($800) , and after he left one of the burners wouldn't work. Suggested perhaps the wire for the element had come loose when the stovetop was put back on the previous visit. Wouldn't hear of it, suggested maybe a mouse ate the wire. Quoted us $350 for the part. Ordered the part online ourselves for $120 - lifted up the stove top and found the element hadn't been plugged in. No mouse. Contacted him to let him know - and nada. Clearly a bit of a rip off situation.
