Hey, it's a bus station. I don't do a lot of bus travel and don't have much of a basis for comparison. It's clean enough, feels safe, and has an information booth right at the entrance.
The layout is simple, unlike the train stations in the big cities where you need to keep asking for directions (have your ticket in hand, and showit to people in the day glow vests)
There is luggage storage, and a cafeteria with slot and cigarette machines. The counter man saw me taking photos and gave a big thumbs up.
For the trip from Sevilla to Grenada the bus was faster and less expensive than the train. Buy your tickets ahead direct from the ALSA bus company site - don't get snared by many middleman sites that will show up higher in a "Seville to XYZ" search and add on high fees that aren't disclosed until after you pay. This advice also applies to airline travel.
There's a good sized self-service luggage bin on the side of the bus, with no extra fees.
Overhead bins are very small. My medium sized backpack wouldn't fit so I had to keep it in front of me on the floor. read more
