This was my first Carrefour experience in Spain (I know it better in France). For our purposes, it…read moreallowed me to check off almost everything on my list. (*For American tourists, Carrefour is kind of a Target-with-grocery-store, except a nicer grocery store.)
We arrived in Sevilla mid-day, and had to drive a rental down to Rota, so I mapped it ahead, to make a pit stop for grocery snacks. This Carrefour is on the way from the airport to Rota, thus a super-easy pitstop.
I had a bunch of products I wanted, and was able to get most. For road snacks and hotel mini-fridge staples, I found bottled water en masse, pre-siced jamon serano, fresh bread, amazing Spanish goat cheese, European chocolate bars, tomatoes, cucumbers (had packed a dollar store peeler/dish soap for this), and beer-by-the-bottle (they offer beer in all quantities, plus a large wine section). I also wanted, and was pleased to get, Sanex (my fave Spanish skin lotion), some interesting condiments and tapenades to take home, and canned olives (safer to take on the plane, cheaper for mass-gifting, and still really high quality).
In France, Carrefour has a decent selection of mid-range men's cologne (Muelhens 4711, for example, and some sporty Adidas scents for casual/day use), but this location was paltry in that department. The other two items I missed, Amora mustard, and Labello lip balm, are French and German brands, respectively, so they were kind of a long shot. I did also want some Tylenol/acetaminophen, and looked pretty hard, but did not see OTCs. I assumed it is more typical to be in a farmacia here, but perhaps I just missed it?
This location shares a parking lot with Brico Depot (Spanish Home Depot), with sheltered and unsheltered spaces, and there is a Burger King in the lot as well. This Carrefour has typical wireless service kiosks (when you enter), and then all other expected departments: electronics, clothing (for all ages), health & beauty, produce, bakery, meats, cheeses, household, canned goods, etc. etc. etc.

This location has Carrefour gas!

As with MOST grocery stores in Spain, they charge for bags, €0.05 each, to be eco-friendly.
