First off, what this mall is not... it is not Plaza Peninsula (TJ), Antara (Cdmx), nor Andares (Gdl). However, it is a place where you can shop for everyday items at stores such as Sears. There is quite a variety of food options, of which we decided on Subway. I know, not very adventurous of us as far as food for this mall, but most of the other options didn't really interest us. The service at most stores is pretty decent, especially in the bigger chain stores. But decent service can also be found in the mom and pops type of places (my girlfriend went to a hair salon here, and they were nice people). If you're looking for value, this may be a good place to go. Save for the parking, you have to pay for it. But the fare is not high at all. This is a decent mall, busy when we came here, and staffed by friendly people.

There are signs up along Interstate 8 declaring Yuma Palms as a hidden gem, and I'm inclined to agree. It's amazing how far back and around the place goes, and it covers a LOT of real estate. You're going to want to drive from parking lot to parking lot because it's just too spread out to walk. It's not a strip mall, it's a maze (that's the one downside) with parking and shopping everywhere. Tons of anchor stores and smaller places as well. Something for everyone, and it's great to end with a visit to Hobby Lobby and Sportsman's Warehouse at the far end of the layout. It's a great place and regardless whether you're looking to do some window shopping or if you're hunting for something in particular, there's a very good chance you'll find it at Yuma Palms.

Considering it is one the newer side it is still nice and well kept and easy access off Highway 8. However, I've never actually been until now. The Plaza is home to 20+ stores and includes but not limited to Best Buy, 99 cent only, Burlington, Home Goods, Ross Dress For Less, Marshalls and restaurants like Burger King, Buffalo Wild Wings and stores like AT&T. Came here because we originally packed for cold stormy weather and it was anything but nice. There is plenty of parking and you can park and pretty much walk to a majority of the places by foot. Would definitely come back if in the area. While it is outside, I can see how the heat would affect walking to these places in summer time.
