Adam, the owner, cut my hair and he was both genuine and great with his skills. People came in to drop by to say hi which I love to see and it seems like his family-established place is held in high regard in the community. The place is lined with awesome posters and a heavy punk influence, even hearing some 70s proto-punk when I got it (which I love by the way). The overall vibe II get is small town camaraderie with punk influence and great charm. I definitely found my new barber for years to come, but I want to recommend this place to everyone as well.

This place is a hidden secret of quality barber craftsmanship of the highest caliber…read more There are no bad barbers here you can get an amazing fade and beard work for 15$ and 3$ respectively. I had recently moved back to NJ from Florida and was worried about finding a quality barber similar to the craftsman I had in FL. After trying some super expensive shops in Montclair and getting terrible butch cuts where they even cut me multiple times and still charged over 35 dollars, I decided I needed a new spot. I noticed my waiter at a restaurant had an amazing fade so I asked him where he got it and he led me here. He told me he had been searching for a quality barbershop for years. His enthusiasm about the barbershop he had discovered was justified. Their entire staff can provide amazing fades and beard trimming/line-ups. Shape-ups for in between cuts are a mere 7$. They use straight razors for finishing touches. This isn't your run of the mill supercuts, these guys know the difference between a buzz, a fade, and a skin fade. There is a distinct Hispanic culture here that is very inviting and hospitable. Well worth the extra drive to get this level of detail for such a low price. Look no further!

The barbers know what you want too, they know what's in style and what little details suit you as an individual. I personally have only had cuts from Junior but I've never seen anyone walk out of this place with a bad haircut or unhappy, from any of the barbers. Highly recommended. To touch on some of the other reviews, yes, depending what time you go you may have to wait a little, but it is well worth it. You will not get a haircut this good for this price anywhere else. Again, well worth it, can't recommend it enough. Never had a bad haircut from this place

I visited again just yesterday (sorry, I didn't catch the barber's name), and once again it was an amazing experience. In fact, it was the first time someone actually styled my hair after the cut, which really stood out. He made sure I didn't walk out looking like I'd just had a rushed haircut with messy hair. That extra care really impressed me. They've been in business for a long time. It's not a big, fancy barber shop, but the warmth and genuine service are always there. Sometimes there's a wait, sometimes there isn't -- but that's just part of the experience, right? Price: $15 for an amazing haircut Parking: Roadside Highly recommended.
