We brought our 1 year old German shepherd mix in who was very anxious and skittish. He is a rescue who was terrified of all loud noises and any object he didn't immediately recognize. He would cower at strangers when they came around and bark at people who came to the house until he recognized them. The team here took our Teddy in and taught him so many things! He came out a different dog! After showing us the ropes on how to be a proper handler, Teddy has trust in us and has more freedom than ever. He still has all the same cute and silly traits, but now has some new awesome skills! We never had experience with e-collars, so we were hesitant at first but we admit now that it is an amazing addition to his training. Chris let us put the collar on our arms and feel the tens unit ourselves upon pick up because he knew I was uncertain about it. They talked us through the levels that Teddy used while in training and the level that he is normally at on the collar. They made sure that we were confident as handlers as they know that's how Teddy will trust us. Now, Teddy knows and loves his commands. He knows what to do when it's time to sit, stay, place, and heel and you can tell he is confident with his commands. His favorite being the "free" command (of course!) and his recall when he is on free is immediate and amazing. We loved getting to see the videos and pictures of Teddy on their social medias and we loved getting to see him trust his trainers in the YouTube video. My husband and I cannot thank the K9 Training Academy more. Teddy has freedom, confidence, and trust in us and he is living his best life now! Thank you all! We definitely recommend them!!

PLEASE READ IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING THIS FACILITY!…read more After giving my dog a month to readjust, I'm leaving an honest review of my experience. I chose this business because of its reviews and proximity. I explained that my German Shepherd puppy had service-dog potential but I couldn't train him myself due to health reasons. The owner seemed knowledgeable, so I invested over $2,400 for their basic obedience board-and-train. From the start, there were red flags. The contract included extra charges--such as several hundred dollars for potty training--despite those services being advertised as included. They also charged a mandatory $55 bath fee. (This is important later on) During his stay, communication was minimal and our dog rarely appeared on their social media until we specifically requested more updates. At pickup, the trainer demonstrated commands using a prong collar fitted far too loosely and incorrectly. When my puppy hesitated, the trainer harshly snapped the leash, making him yelp, cry, and visibly shut down in fear. Despite this, he continued applying hard corrections until he got up from the ground. After returning home, we discovered they never gave back his collar and he smelled strongly of urine and feces, despite the bath charge. While settling him in after bathing him ourselves, we also found a 5-6 inch injury on his thigh. A vet confirmed it was rope burn and that he also had a staph infection--both of which occurred during his time there. None of this was disclosed to us when it happened or at the end of his stay. Previously, they had refused to give me a tour of their facility. After everything that happened, I contacted animal control to get more information. Anyone considering this facility should know that their animal control records are public and free to request. The reports include dogs dying in their care, kennels covered in feces and urine, roach infestations, unsafe kennel wiring, and reports of dogs yelping like they're being hit. From the notes, it looks like they often refuse access to animal control during surprise visits until they can temporarily clean their facility to meet code. The only positive was that my dog came back with a good heel and place. Nothing else with his training stuck despite daily reinforcements of what they taught him since being back. Cons: Collar not returned Returned dirty and smelling of urine/feces despite bath fee Upcharged for services listed as included Came back with a staph infection Came back with a 5-6 inch rope-burn injury Now fearful of men raising their voices Had to provide all his food/treats (You'd think with board and train, the price would cover that?) Pros: Good heel and place

Drs Ben and Gita Mohit are the best veterinarians I've known in Clermont area for the past 12…read moreyears!!! And believe me, I've been to a few other vets... Four Corners Animal Hospital offers excellent medical care for your precious furry critters in their awesome clinic, from regular annual visits, surgeries, and boarding your beloved pets. Both Drs Mohit (married couple with teen sons) are highly experienced and they treat everybody's pets with compassionate TLC as they do their own pets. The virtue I admire most of them is their direct honesty with their vast knowledge. Over the years, I've learned so much from them... The most bittersweet memory I'll always remember was when my 15 year old "Love of My Life" cat Inky was diagnosed with stomach cancer on 11/7/13. Drs Mohit instructed me how to nurse him at home because I couldn't afford treatments as I didn't have insurance either. I'll never forget this experience. I didn't want to let Inky go, but the time came when he couldn't walk anymore. Drs Mohit were immensely empathetic with my sorrow and they allowed me to stay with Inky as they injected him and I watched him go to sleep peacefully forever in 5 seconds on 12/13/13. They let me stay for a couple of hours to spend my last moments with my beloved companion... I have absolute faith and complete confidence that anybody who enters their door will definitely feel the warmth and comfort of Four Corners Animal Hospital!!! Along with their outstanding expertise services, Drs Mohit will offer you the very best advice and service to properly care for your beloved pets. I know so. My Miss Jinxy (age 9) and Mr Bootsy (age 4) have been visiting Drs Mohits since they were 2-month old saved kittens. My babies are happy and healthy ESA companions and I cherish them dearly!!! My deepest gratitude to Drs Ben and Gita Mohit at FCAH!!!

The lobby was clean and cozy and had plenty of comfortable chairs as well as a large aquarium that my kids liked. We did have to wait for about 20 mins past our appointment time, for which the receptionist apologized repeatedly. There were sick dogs ahead of us who needed more time with the veterinarian. When Shadow started to get restless, the receptionist brought us some toys for him. She was very attentive. The visit itself went fine, though the tech and vet had not reviewed or printed the records I'd sent. I had to pull them up on my phone. I was provided the cost for everything up front and not pressured into extra services. Our tech, Ashley (I hope I remembered her name right!) was SO nice and personable, just an awesome human. The staff was great with Shadow and treated him like they would their own pet. I appreciated their approach, which I'd describe as a perfect blend of casual warmth and professional expertise. Overall, 4.5/5. We will definitely be back.

Some of their staff is very good & passionate, but a majority are burnt out and rude. I do feel for them because veterinary medicine can be a lot but many of the ladies who answer the phones to answer simple questions are grouchy & not easy to deal with. You'd be much better off taking your pet to somewhere like PetFolk. They have outstanding costumer service, access to love chats with vet techs 24/7, there are multiple located around the Orlando area, and they are overall just better. Their prices are the same, and they actually are open 6 days a week!! This vet is somehow always closed. Check out Petfolk!! This vet clinic is outdated; the office is old & crusty, the Vets are NON STOP CHANGING and it's never the same one in the office. Or if they do still work there "they're gone on a cruise for 2 weeks" every other month. True story, tried to get ahold of Dr. Fell for my senior pet & the grouchy ladies on the phone just kept telling me she's on vacation every week (must be nice!). Or I would have a simple question, and they needed to see my pet in order to answer it even though I just had brought him in and had a full physical with bloodwork & all the works. Time for Atlantic vet to get an update or get out of town because there's new modern Vets on the rise & you guys are NOT it anymore!
