The transfers are cheap for round trip and allow you to book in advance and contact them as needed for changes. They are always on time and easy to find at the airport. Their vans are also large for those who don't pack lightly (guilty) and they provide free water as refreshments. Highly recommend if you are visiting Cancun.

We also requested that they simply stop at the hotel on the way to the airport, and they flatly refused to add it as a stop. Despite the hotel being only 7 minutes from the airport, they demanded an additional $65, claiming it was a "new service." This was unreasonable, especially since we were not asking for a separate trip, only a stop along the existing route--not to go to the airport first and then be taken to the hotel. The driver was not the issue at all--drivers are clearly restricted and monitored by GPS. The problem lies entirely with the reservation staff, who were rigid, unhelpful, and unwilling to offer any solution. They even claimed that no manager was available, which is both inexcusable and highly questionable during peak season. This was an overpriced, inflexible, and poorly managed service that added stress to an already difficult travel situation. I would not recommend this company to anyone expecting reasonable customer service or flexibility.

Grand Oasis Cancún - Large pool, decent beach. The only things this hotel has going for them

Relaxing Caribbean Escape…read more Oasis Beach is such a lovely spot in Cancún. The turquoise Caribbean water, soft sand, and ocean views make it easy to relax and forget about everything for a while. I really enjoyed sitting near the water and listening to the waves while feeling the sea breeze. It has that beautiful Caribbean atmosphere that makes you want to stay a little longer. The sunset was also gorgeous and made the experience even more special. A great place for a relaxing walk, some photos, swimming, or simply enjoying the ocean. Beautiful, peaceful, and definitely worth a visit when you're in Cancún.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel like I need to warn others. I'm giving Grand Oasis…read moreCancún two stars, and those stars are solely because of Lorenzo and Carina. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely made our stay more enjoyable. Without them, this would have been a one-star review. The resort lures you in with the promise of an all-inclusive vacation, but the reality was incredibly disappointing. The food was some of the most unappetizing I've ever seen at a resort. Very little looked fresh or appetizing, and dining quickly became something we dreaded rather than enjoyed. The property itself is very dated. The rooms, common areas, and grounds all show significant wear, and many areas felt dirty or in need of repair. We even had cockroaches in our room. Air conditioning was either weak or nonexistent in many parts of the resort, making it uncomfortable to escape the heat. One thing they don't make clear when booking is that there are different resort access levels based on your wristband color. We had blue bracelets, while guests with black bracelets had access to noticeably nicer amenities and areas. It leaves standard guests feeling like second-class visitors. Cleanliness was another major issue. Guests frequently left trash around the property, and we were disturbed to learn on our last day that reusable cups were being rinsed in a brown sanitizing solution before being handed back out. If you stay here, bring your own insulated cup. My husband and I both came home sick with bad colds, and while I can't say what caused it, seeing the cup sanitation process certainly didn't inspire confidence. Another disappointment was the atmosphere. All of the pool bars closed by 6:00 p.m., and by around 11:00 p.m. the resort felt completely dead. Aside from the spring break crowd, there wasn't much energy or entertainment. Overall, this resort feels like it's surviving on its spring break reputation rather than investing in the guest experience. Between the poor food, outdated facilities, cleanliness concerns, uncomfortable rooms, and confusing tiered access system, I would never recommend Grand Oasis Cancún. Save your money and book elsewhere

Quick off loading when arriving and the ferry leaves every hour up to 6pm I believe. The ferry back to Cancun now you can hit a traffic jam between 3-5pm of course. The ride is about a half hour and it's beautiful. The ferry has indoor and outdoor seating. There was a man singing during our ride and afterwards he did ask for a tip. You will always be offered to take a catamaran, to go snorkeling, to rent a golf cart, etc.

They picked tourists like us up from different hotels and gathered at their office/souvenir shop kind of location. Then split us up into Spanish tour or English tour groups .. we went in the smaller van with fellow English tour folks. Our guide was Tony, an older gentleman -- fluent in English and seemed knowledgeable in Mayan culture/history. He explained stuff throughout the tour. Places covered in this tour were Valladolid plaza & church, then buffet lunch at a retreat like location in between, swim at Ik-kil cenote; finally the incredible mayan pyramids at Chichen-Itza. Overall a wonderful trip and must do. Decent tour company. Only negatives - private tours may save time (instead of getting picked up & waiting at their office - good couple of hours in cancun itself); the tour guide selling stones or mayan birth certificates. etc. (well, it may be fun if you are into that kind of thing though).

Our hostel told us to bring snacks and said we would probably return around 5 PM. The bus arrived around 7:10 AM. After several stops, we were moved from a minivan to a coach, which took us to Cancun's Hotel Zone around 7:30 AM. We were told to get off and wait on the street. We waited from 7:30 to 9 AM with nothing to do. Breakfast was offered, but we bought coffee at the Oxxo next door because lunch was supposedly included. After another coach and another 30-minute wait, we finally left Cancun at 9:30. Between 9:30 and 11 AM, the coach continued picking up and dropping off passengers. Several guides and groups came and went, and we had no idea who was with our tour. Around 11:30, we arrived at the Tulum ruins and were immediately taken to a café where a latte cost 145 pesos. After bathrooms, it was about noon. We had been awake since 6:30 AM and had barely eaten, so I was becoming lightheaded. Our archaeological tour lasted about 30 minutes. Although the guide entered the site, he did not accompany or explain anything to us. We were left to explore alone. At 1:30 PM, the entire group was waiting at the café. The only person missing was the guide. We bought snacks because everyone assumed lunch was next, but the guide had told us to leave our snacks on the bus. We were then told to switch buses again, this time to a small minivan with broken AC--14 people in 33°C heat. When we asked about lunch, we were shocked to learn that it would not be until 4 PM. Around 2:30 PM, we stopped at a Mayan souvenir shop, which we expected. We left around 3 PM for Coba. After another ticket dispute, we entered at 3:15 PM. We were immediately told to pay 180 pesos for a bike carriage because the pyramid was 5 km away and entry for climbing closed at 3:30 PM. We felt this was unfair: after hours of delays, we were being pressured to pay extra to reach the pyramid in time. Some people could not get carriages and had to stay behind. We arrived at 3:30, but park officials said we needed to arrive by 3:15 to climb. They initially refused to let us up. After pleading, we were allowed to climb, but most of our group was not. We had never been told about the 3:15 deadline. At 4:30 PM, we reached a cenote restaurant for the included buffet lunch. The rice, meat and vegetables were cold, but we ate because there were no alternatives. When my boyfriend tried to drink his own water, restaurant staff told us outside drinks were prohibited and that we had to buy a drink. Few people wanted to swim in the cenote. Everyone was frustrated by the delays, poor planning and unexpected costs. On the return journey, a group complained about the day. Instead of addressing the feedback, the guide closed the minivan door and said, "If you have issues, complain to your representative." Around 7 PM, we stopped at a gas station and waited another 30 minutes while the guide argued about the bill. There was still no AC, and some passengers were worried about missing dinner reservations. The guide never addressed the fact that most of the group had been unable to climb Coba. My boyfriend also heard him complain that he was not receiving tips and was having a bad day. We finally returned to Cancun at 8:45 PM--12 hours after leaving. We paid $79 per person, roughly the same as our excellent Isla Mujeres catamaran tour. This experience was completely different. The day felt dominated by delays and extra spending on food, bike carriages and drinks. The guide even said, "What's $10 to you?" We can afford $10, but that does not make it acceptable to pressure tourists into unnecessary expenses. This was the worst tour experience we have had. The itinerary was poorly managed, communication was inadequate, and most of the group missed key parts of the tour. We felt disrespected and treated like sources of extra money. Avoid this company if you want a well-organized day.
