There are fresh sea food restaurants cooking fresh fish on bbqs for lunch each day of the summer season. A well maintained boardwalk runs the whole length of the beach (over 8km) which is easily accessible making it a hot spot for runners and families with pushchairs. There are multiple car parks along the beach at different points which are free of charge on quieter days and out of peak season, but charge for parking in the summer months and get full on the weekends.

Disabled parking with wheelchair access right down to the water's edge. Decking area with sun beds reserved for disabled users and their carers. If you are unable to enter the sea by your own they also have a 3 wheel floating seat that they take you into the sea with. You can then ease yourself off and have a swim and when youre ready they put you back on the seat and return you to your sun bed. I walk with crutches and use a wheelchair when I was there I used the waterprrof crutches they have to walk into the sea with. The crutches have extra wide rubber bases for stability which stop them sinking into the sand. Once in the water there is a floating crutch holder where you secure your crutches while you go off for a swim. After 7 years of not having the stability to enter the sea with my family I managed to enjoy everyday of my holiday swimming and frolicking in the sea. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, newspaper shops even large supermarket all within 200 metres of the beach. Cant recommend this place enough. Free access and no charge for use of services.

Its got a mix of paradise beach with mountains on the side. The sand is yellow and powdery and the water is really good. It's a mix of the atlantic ocean along with the mediterannean. They've got beach paddling boats you can rent along with deck chairs and shelter. It's also got restaurant's on the outskirts of the beach, along with a tiny fair that they put for the kids in the summer and a afternoon/night market they put out during the summer. Offering jewellery, clothes and house decorations at a bargain price :)

I stayed in a hotel right next to the beach!…read more Although the waters are salty (it IS the Mediterranean Sea) and a tad bit cold, even in a time like August, I still really enjoyed this beach. It's a great time for families to enjoy their time here, with bars and restaurants in this area. Many people build BEAUTIFUL sandcastles for display - though you'll need to pay to take a picture with them (interesting way for people to make money)! There are still quite a bit of shells that you will see in this beach, especially if you're lucky, they're right along the coast! The best part about this beach are probably the beach shops and souvenirs right beside it. It was super convenient, and it brought a culture to this beach. I would definitely recommend living in the hotels close to the beach, super convenient!!
