There are fresh sea food restaurants cooking fresh fish on bbqs for lunch each day of the summer season. A well maintained boardwalk runs the whole length of the beach (over 8km) which is easily accessible making it a hot spot for runners and families with pushchairs. Disabled parking with wheelchair access right down to the water's edge. Decking area with sun beds reserved for disabled users and their carers. If you are unable to enter the sea by your own they also have a 3 wheel floating seat that they take you into the sea with. You can then ease yourself off and have a swim and when youre ready they put you back on the seat and return you to your sun bed. I walk with crutches and use a wheelchair when I was there I used the waterprrof crutches they have to walk into the sea with. The crutches have extra wide rubber bases for stability which stop them sinking into the sand. Once in the water there is a floating crutch holder where you secure your crutches while you go off for a swim. After 7 years of not having the stability to enter the sea with my family I managed to enjoy everyday of my holiday swimming and frolicking in the sea. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, newspaper shops even large supermarket all within 200 metres of the beach. Cant recommend this place enough. Free access and no charge for use of services.
