Everyone else working at hotel is great - wonderful housekeepIng, maintenance, restaurant, management. The General Morgan Hotel needs to fire every single one of these women and hire better people. I won't stay at this hotel again if I have to deal with any of these horrible, nasty women. I spent over $1,100 staying here and dreaded every interaction with these women. These ladies totally ruined my stay. I will say that if you need the hours for which they are open, go on their website and it will tell you. Google's hours are incorrect, and I had submitted the hours posted on the door to Yelp HQ while my brother and dad were playing pool so that it can be updated to the correct ones. Before I continue, do note that you will need to scan a QR code to sign your waivers when you enter. The location is pretty unassuming, and it's not a very big place. Actually, this place can very easily be passed by if you don't know what you're looking for. You have to park in the back, and if you have issues walking, making the descent down to the front door can be a huge hassle. That said, the games they do have are fun. I will admit, I might have benefitted more during laser tag had the game been explained to me better so that I didn't score a big fat 0. But it does seem like it would have been much more fun had I ever been able to get the hang of it. I didn't let that discourage me in the end though. I played a few good match-ups of air hockey and even played against one of the locals. There was also this 3 vs. 12 game you can play that was a new one to me. I couldn't explain the rules, but it requires a good deal of skill and especially aim. It's one that's fun even if you get nowhere with it. Now for the escape room, you are given a choice of two escape rooms to try. There's an ambulance room and an 80's themed room. Because we were a party of 3, we went with the ambulance, which was a cramped place. For both the escape rooms and the laser tag you are given admission tickets if you want to play. Thankfully for us, the escape room was explained much better. You get 60 minutes to beat the room using the clues given. We did it with 7:33 to spare. We did get to have a free peek at what the 80's room looked like inside and it's a much larger room. If you want to attempt the 80's themed room however, it's recommended you bring a bigger group of people, like maybe a party of at least 5. Before today I had only ever done 1 escape room, and it was one I did (and was actually able to complete, albeit just barely) by myself. The one we did made us really think about what we were doing and forced us to really be careful what we were doing to make sure we got it done. If you can get past the heat and claustrophobias, you're in a good place here. For the staff, these are friendly folk. Actually, the one who was in charge of the escape rooms may or may not have been recognized by my brother from Bible studies. They also do a really good job at keeping this place clean, and they seem to be people that enjoy working with each other. No complaints about anyone here. All in all, a good place to have some good fun to unwind yourself in. It was a good last stop for this trip before I fly back home the next afternoon.

My wife stumbled across Wandering Llamas while researching things to do during our annual spring…read morebreak adventure. We spent two nights in the fox den treehouse which is located in one of the llama pasture areas. The "treehouse" is a elevated wooden shed like structure that has been refurbished into a pleasant little hideaway in the Smoky's. The treehouse has a nice deck to sit and enjoy the mountain view. There's also a nice swing chair and firepit to enjoy as well. The treehouse has electricity with a small electric heater to take the chill out. The treehouse was very clean and the bed unbelievably comfortable. The treehouse is a one and only. If you are renting here you have the treehouse and llamas all to yourself. The property owner and host (Sandy) lives on the property and is available if you are in need of anything. Sandy is very personable and will spend time sharing of herself with her guests. On the llama walk each person usually gets there own llama to walk with. Sandy accompanies you and can answer any llama related question you may have. The walk is at a very leisurely pace and lasts about two hours. The llamas are easy to walk and well behaved. Contrary to popular opinion of some the llamas did not spit at one another. One thing to be aware of if staying in the treehouse is there is no running water and only a fancy bucket of a toilet in an outhouse under the treehouse. This didn't bother us, but for some that don't care for "roughing it" I could see it as a drawback. (There is a gas station about a mile away that we used the bathroom at. We are members of the YMCA at home. There's a Y a few miles away and with the Y reciprocity program we were able to go there to take a hot shower. The Wandering Llama was an awesome get away experience for us and Sandy is a great host. We appreciate her sharing her llamas.

A super fun, unique outing if you are spending time in the Smoky Mountains, about a 1.5 hour drive…read morefrom our cabin in Sevierville. We booked the 2-hour wine and cheese tour because it was the only tour that had open spots left (we booked about a week ahead). We skipped the wine and cheese part due to our concerns about COVID (the food is served in their open gazebo, so it's relatively safe - we just prefer taking extra precautions and had already eaten lunch just before we got there), but the llama hike alone was well worth it. The walk, about 1.5 hours total time, is along the gravel road, which is a little hilly, but manageable if you're fit (not so much if you have small kids that don't do a lot of walking). Most of the time was spent relaxing in an open field - very socially distant from the other eight people in our group - where we fed the llamas and took lots of pictures. The llamas are super friendly and so soft! Though Sandy (the owner) provides animal crackers and strawberries for the llamas to enjoy during the middle of the hike, definitely bring your own -- we brought graham crackers and sliced apples to feed them throughout the walk, and the llamas LOVE to eat! Sandy is very friendly and welcoming and took pictures of everyone during the hike, which she emailed to us later. A great highlight of our trip!

Jill Reeves is the woman in charge of the school programs here and I have had to be in contact with her to make reservations, take payments, and to ask questions. She has always been so kind and quick to respond; and with the quality of shows put on for the kids, you can tell she cares deeply about this program and her job. Before some performances, NPAC will even create a study guide for the students/teachers/homeschoolers and send out in an email. Again, since I homeschool my two boys, this is a wonderful resource and extra step that is greatly appreciated! Some of my family's favorite memories are of taking field trips to see shows here--so we will keep coming and promoting this center and program!

I will be taking the girls back in the next week or so to get their full hour. Thank you to the manager at Just Jump. I paid for the tickets at 1137am. The girls went to take off shoes and put on the trampoline socks so by the time they were jumping it was 1150ish. At 1226pm they called all pink and red wristbands out that their time was up. It wasn't close to being an hour but they would not allow the girls any more time. I was told that the hour started at 1130am before we even bought the tickets but if I had waited until 1145am to pay then their time would have rounded up to noon and they would have had one hour and fifteen minutes! This place isn't concerned with children having a good time it is all about the money. I won't be back.
