Although the toddler room was disappointing, they are accommodating to the adults by having beverages available for purchase. Food wasn't too bad, so I can't be too upset with our experience. Was surprised they had fried cauliflower bites which was pretty good. Staff were very nice and helpful with any questions we had. Some of them were really interactive with the kids which made me smile. Overall, this place is probably better for bigger kids because they have more stuff to keep them occupied, like laser tag, rock climbing, ballocity, etc.. will probably try this place again when my kiddo is bigger.

I wasn't damaging equipment, my son (and I'm sure if you have cameras you can check) was begging my husband and I to come jump with him. This woman told me a story about how she jumped with her daughter and her daughter ended up breaking her leg, telling me how fragile kids are. I'm actually a teacher, so I work with kids 24/7 and am well aware of this. Told me "mom to mom" basically, she made me feel unwelcome to jump. After we just spent $50. After I came back from the bathroom, my husband at this point was going to have a word with the front desk. I noticed she was also singling out other people as well, as well as playing on her phone, sitting in massage chairs, and taking up benches. I'm going to say this as nicely as I can, but I almost wonder if she was targeting me because I'm a small woman and CAN jump with my son without injuring him. Am considering taking my son to another park after this day, as again that was terribly uncalled for in my opinion her approach. I understand if she had a safety concern, but if that was the case, I don't think any of that backhanded commentary was necessary.

Kudos first to the Science Center staff, from Xander at the ticket desk to the folks working exhibits, the security guards, and finally the corporate staffer who opened the door after hours to help me find an object I'd forgotten, this is a group of friendly, competent, kind people who embody customer service. What a treat! The movie itself was enlightening and entertaining and the interactive exhibit further enhanced the experience. Returning to the Science Center will be a pleasure, made even more affordable thanks to the annual membership I decided to purchase. (At Urban Air it was almost impossible to cancel the membership, the cool events were closed or barely moved because of lack of staff, prices were ridiculous for terrible food). They do enforce that you need Skyzone socks though, not a different brand.

We still had approximately 30 minutes left on the time we had paid for, and we were sitting and watching our three-year-old jump. There was a large area that appeared to need vacuuming before closing. Rather than waiting until the area was clear, two employees decided to vacuum directly around us while we were still using the facility. At one point, the vacuum was literally being pushed over and around our feet. I politely asked why they were vacuuming where we were sitting when we still had 30 minutes remaining on the time we had paid for. One of the employees, Jill, shut the vacuum off and said, "I'm not doing this with you." I then asked if I could speak with a manager. Jill walked away and went downstairs to speak with another employee, Jess. From where I was, I could see them talking and laughing about the situation. I went to find the manager and explained what had happened and how disrespectfully Jill had spoken to me. The manager apologized and offered me three free passes. I told her that I was not concerned about receiving free passes. My concern was the employees' behavior and the way we were being treated. I asked her to please speak with them about it, and she said that she would. I returned to my seat, and shortly afterward Jess turned the vacuum back on and began vacuuming directly around our feet again. I asked her what she was doing, especially since I had just spoken with the manager about the situation. She responded that she didn't know what I was talking about. I had personally seen Jill and Jess speaking and laughing together about the situation, and now the same behavior was continuing. Both employees then laughed in our faces. At that point, I went back to the manager and asked for the employees' names. I was told their names were Jill and Jess. I have never experienced this kind of treatment from staff at a children's facility. We were paying customers who still had time remaining on our visit, and I don't believe it was unreasonable to expect to be able to sit and watch our three-year-old without having a vacuum pushed around our feet. More importantly, I was extremely disappointed by the employees' attitude, dismissive comments, and laughing at us after I had already brought the issue to management. This truly engages their creativity so they would need to build things within the water to have it travel farther along with balls being shot up in the air.
