From afar, this place looks attractive: brightly lit place in the middle of the open and usually empty square, seemingly bringing life to the area. However, the inside doesn't quite match my first impression.
The place was practically empty when we went for dinner. One waitress--granted that she was nice, neither she nor the food was not fast. It seemed like there were 15 minutes among getting menus, ordering, getting the food (soup and then entree) and paying, and it felt drawn out sitting in a brightly lit but practically empty place. Perhaps the restaurant would be more pleasant to stay if there were more people (it was the holiday season, so perhaps we went at the unfavorable time).
Food was so-so. A good selection of various food, so there were lots to choose from (and they are English friendly with their menu). I started with the potato and mushroom soup, which was great (especially for the cold weather). Then I got the basil risotto with mushroom and fried rocket, and that was way way way tooooo greasy! It was hard to eat one bite without feeling greasy all over my mouth. Flavors were there, but it was doused in oil--not good.
