It was only a 3 mile trip yet two other companies quoted me over $350 because they have a 2 hour minimum. Ted offered his services at a fraction of that amount and the experience could not have been better. He communicated with me the morning of to let us know he was on the way, he arrived on time and was very helpful getting three senior citizens and tons of bags into his van. Very personable, the van was immaculate and the entire experience was 5 star. Highly recommend this company if you are ever in need of shuttle service in the BTV area.

Building of the unit I cannot blame them for and all work was under warranty but a lot of things should have been caught before pick up. The guy had no knowledge of the solar system and could not answer questions I had. I had to bring the unit back at least 6 times for warranty work which was done however they have a deep phony of returning calls or calling you back to update you or tell you work has been done, after trip #6 work was still not completed and the work that was was sloppy and messy caulking splattered on the child's finger painted it all over it or wiped the excess off wherever leaving smears of caulking all over, Still did not fix an issue that was written on the work order. I was never told the work was completed as I was promised I would get a call back In the six times I had service done all under warranty I never received the promised call back. My advice is to make sure and double check EVERYTHING was done correctly as it is hit or miss some things I had to get refixed as they were not done correctly or they did the cheapest simplest thing they could instead of taking the time to do it right the first time, IE straightening a bent jack screw instead of just replacing it, or fixing the frame instead of just replacing the handle that does not fix the issue. It just seems they do not pay attention to detail by not reading the full work order and miscommunication simple fixes if they just slow down. The staff is friendly enough they just need some training on what they sell and slow down, I get it is busy and staffing could be better but still no excuse. they can do better.

May be messy by nights ends but typically was cleaned. If things didn't work were resolved. I have given new owners the benefit of doubt but today i wasted 10$ on dryers that didn't heat. Was not busy in there but was filthy. over 50% of machines out of service and then 50% of the dryers that ran wouldn't heat up. I left with wet laundry after wasting my time and money. I would like to say sorry to pass owners and his staff. This place is 100 x worse; i listened to so many people complain for years about things that were often out of their control. I bet the community wishes the old staff and owner was there still. This owner takes no pride in this place or even attempts to take pride. I get people are messy and disrespectful but it is your job as an owner to check on your business daily and clean. Considering u are right next door that just makes u lazy. Last owner and his staff were miles away and had other jobs but that did what they could for the community to have a place they could do their laundry.

The owner put us on the wait list when I called in February or March, and let us know when he had an opening. I called early this year, lol. The units are outdoors, but it was as promised: a storage unit. We brought our own combination lock. Access was easy. We let him know when the unit was empty and had no issues. She kept a LOT of stuff there for the summer, from her fan to a TV to her boyfriend's snowboard. My only suggestion would be to list an email address on the website to make communication easier. Beyond that, I was happy.

He says the remedy for his breach is in the contract, which is court.......and he steals your security deposit. He will make up any bogus claim to not give back your deposit, including drafting fake letters from so called witnesses. He will claim you let someone else use the property to store a few things of theirs, to justify breaching his obligations and keeping your security deposit. He admits there is no damage to the property but invents a reason to not give you your deposit. I don't know how Mr David Merkel sleeps at night taking advantage of tenants. Many people need and rely on in good faith the deposit they made and he steals. I Urge anyone who has unfortunately rented from him, don't pay last month's rent because he will never give your security deposit back. Get your stuff out and don't pay that last month. I have contacted the attorney general in NY to investigate him for a pattern of fraud. He hopes people won't bother filing a complaint especially if they are short on time or vulnerable. He is sadly mistaken. He will regret his unethical and illegal tactics. I will find ways to spread the word publicly and contact his current tenants via postcard or whatever means so they can be warned and can also know how to file complaints with the District Attorney in Clinton county and the Attorney General's office in NY.
