I didn't discover it until the next day. When I went back the guy denied doing it. I asked to speak to the owner. He told me how honest they are. And they didn't do it. He told me there is a screw in that exact spot that must have been to tight and the heat caused it to crack. Well he lied!!! The screws that hold it in place are on the sides. So I am left with 1000.00 in damage. The cluster in one piece so the whole thing needs to be replaced!! I would have thought they had insurance to cover something like this. In doing so they gave us a verbal estimate of how much it would cost so we could give them $150 to do a drawing and get a more accurate estimate. Before I was willing to go forward and risk my $150 they assured me it would be close to that estimate. Industry standard is a 10% change on verbal estimates. I gave them my $150 and they came back with a quote 50% higher than the number they convinced me into giving them $150. I was wanting to go through Patterson's but they gave me no good explanation on why they would go up 50% of the original estimate. They said there is nothing they could do and I would have to pay the 50% increase or loose out on that $150. This shop was very deceitful and I no longer trust them. Be cautious!
